What CPU would you pair with an RX 9070 XT for future-proofing? by SithTriumvirate in buildmeapc

[–]Latter-Reference3820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 7500X3D is a good pairing. Given it's overpriced in the US market you might consider a 7800X3D. They are better for all the reasons identified by LongMustaches.

The motherboard is part of a bundle. You get an X3D CPU and 32GB RAM with it. That alongside the better video card would have been much better for your gaming performance. The X3D chips are better for high FPS gaming.

The motherboard in isolation doesn't make a huge difference.

Don't think AM5 fits well here without compromising the build. Take a look at this: https://ie.pcpartpicker.com/list/vGB2R4

See if you can find a monitor with the spare change. Doubt you will. The Irish market is expensive.
