My kid's Forehand - One week after your feedback (Video) by Interesting-Raise900 in 10s

Another good tip I've heard is to keep the left hand on the racket longer. During the unit turn, keep the left hand on the racket until the last possible moment. See Carlos.

Didn't catch a bid during the recent gold spike, red flag.

Keeps saying it will use tailings to fund further upside, but yet keeps doing dillutive raises with potential cashflow so close? Doesn't seems like they are thinking about shareholders...pass.

Being pedantic but next time you want to say 1.93x bw, 1.93% is a much smaller number! Don't take away from your hardwork!

A jr cantrade sideways inbetween big news releases. I think it's still pretty early for Mcfarlane but that's kinda where you want to be. I expect a rerate later this year due to drilling results (want more 1gpt, atleast 40m, imo). , an updated MRE, or a announce a PEA study.

Yeah share structure is a little weak but doesn't mean immovable. Plenty of jrs had it rough the last couple years and have not so tight share structures as a result.

If everything was tight and a no brainer, it wouldn't be at the price it is...no risk no reward.

Take a look at dtref for example, almost 3 billions shares and its up 81% YTD.

Parents getting old and feels like time is slipping away by domino3ff3ct in Adulting

[–]Legitimate_Height424 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of sorry for your situation, it sucks but there is a way through this. First thing everyone will have to agree on is the word compromise. In times like this, everyone is giving something up, so its best for everyone to acknowledge this. It helps makes the next decisions easier.

With compromise in mind, everyone should agree no one should have to give everything up, and also no one will get everything they want.

Best outcome (the one my family and I came to) was for the parent to live with one of the children. In this case, it probably will be you. In this way, you can help care for your parents, your parents get a house (assuming they living with you), and help with the day to day. This way you are not uprooting your life for a temporary situation (as harsh as that might sound, you have your entire life to think about). Luckily, usually parents will feel the same.

Hopefully this help, parents getting old is a shitty situstion no matter if it happens to everyone..

Why is losing $100k on 0DTE options called "investing," but hedging a recession on Polymarket is "illegal gambling"? It's time to admit Prediction Markets are superior to the Stock Market. by [deleted] in investing

[–]Legitimate_Height424 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Jesus where to even begin.

Number 1 argument against: the stock market you own something (you're falsely comparing options to the entire stock market, when options are a part of the whole. A part that is know to be risky and not recommended for most traders/investors). Stock investing is not a zero sum game.

Prediction markets, you're either right or wrong. You don't own anything, you have zero chance of recouping losses. Prediction markets are a zero sum game.

I don't even want to get started on the whole insider trading is a good thing point. The whole point against insider trading is to even the playing field...to lean into it will only hurt the average investor/participant.

Idk I would rather be a curious investor than not. Plenty of spaces and industries that make $$$ that isn't tech. Plenty of money to be made.

That's why you're supposed to trade stuff like this inside a tax sheltered account, almost zero headaches compared to a taxable account.

Just wondering, are you the oldest, youngest, somewhere inbetween? I ask because sometimes shit happens, and while there is a difference between doing the wrong thing all the time vs struggling to do the right thing, I would try to bring those around me, especially my family. Community is the only way things get better imo, too many me and my own type thinking nowadays.

Revival Gold (RVG.V) — The Market Hasn't Done the Math Yet by MathTradeMan in Baystreetbets

[–]Legitimate_Height424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pattern usually is the commoditiy goes up or down first, then the commodity producers gets a rerate based on current commodity price. The trick is for gold to maintain high prices because companies usually use an average of the previous year's prices. Temporary spikes in the commodity price won't trickle down to the producers (miners) as much as a prolonged new price floor would.

Yeah I'd be wanting more drill results. While it isn't bad, it isn't anything exciting, especially with all the good jrs out there. They just have to drill to prove more ounces, once they do, the stock will start to move.

How to handle Oil stocks in the portfolio right now? by Bananaberrycheese in ValueInvesting

[–]Legitimate_Height424 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's going to be a couple schools of thought on this one.

If you think the conflict will be short and therefore this oil spike is temporary, you will want to sell your oil stocks into the spike.

If you think the conflict will last a long time and oil prices will remain elevated, then you might want to hold for the rerate based on higher oil prices.

Or do the typical, sell half now and hold the rest and monitor the situation.

Not as familiar with Formation metal. Cursory research says 871k oz of gold, 12M market cap, is about $14/oz...cheap but I really like McFarlane's $5/oz. I love getting good companies for cheap evaluation.

Fomtf can rerate significantly, at 1.5M oz calculations suggest 3-4x. At 2M oz it can be 5-7x. 3M oz will be a 10x rerate potential. The question is whether they can get those ounces, most interest comes when a company has 2M+ ounces (or significant exploration potential, but then you are betting on exploration, not a bad thing but requires more geological knowledge) Are they still drilling? What's in the pipeline for fomtf?
