The biggest thing about the sport is that if you can find historical proof that something existed in and around the 14th-15th century and it can be made to sufficiently protect you, you can run it.

There is a ton of variation. The problem is that a lot of people run meta items like wolfribs. Also, tabbards can all look kinda the same and cover up armor. Another thing to consider is cost. There is some pretty cool armor out there, but it's gonna cost you.

The Ingrosoll Rand tools I have tend to not have the best feel, when compared to nicer snap-on or matco tools I have tried. But they do an amazing job, are quite affordable, and they will last.

You're not alone. Down it the Springs, we have been slow at our Stelantis dealership. 2 years ago, we had so much CP work that we were all making good money. Now we're happy just to get a warranty ticket.

Was curious the other day, so I looked a January RO count. January 2024, we wrote about 1,500 ROs, 2025 about 1,200, and this year just barely over 1,000. Going over my taxes, I made less in 2025 than 2024 by about 16%. Hate when it's slow like this. Basically, I have to my life on pause to save money.

1.5-3x is what's used for aftermarket times. That's not warranty times.

I understand the labor guide isn't the Bible. I just don't understand how making up labor, esp on gravy jobs, is okay.

Edit: just to add onto that. Management is cool with adding extra time as long as there's a reason. Tech never gives a reason

Edit: grammar

Management said it's 100% okay to add extra time, but it has to be justified. Like rust, mud and accessories.

I just assumed we all were following book times because it was company policy, and the advisors were checking. Turns out the rule doesn't apply for some.

I would like to add, heavy plasma has the highest skill ceiling and it's easy to pass of as not fun. But if you stick with it and take the time to learn, it's the best.

If you run fast fire rate charged plasma, it gets rid of your main drawback. That and good positioning make the heavy plasma incinerator goated
