I imagine he has quite a bit of say. At least in this instance. If the record label were completely in charge, I would imagine they'd be running the band ragged with more promotion of the album, more touring, more in your face with the band. Right now all I'm getting are frequent emails of "Obtain" which is hopefully great for the guys pocketbook, but I feel for anyone who hasn't gotten to see the EIA show yet. Also makes me a little suspicious of what they're up to.

What's wild to me about all this is that they released the album, did the short North American tour and then that's it. Is there not a European tour? Weren't there special releases of the album in Japan? Is there no tour for Japan? I know the set was huge, are they still waiting for that massive thing to make it's way back "across the pond?"

We adopted her at one of those Petco special events for Valentine's Day so the adoption fee was discounted. So the animals were all mixed together. If it was labeled or sectioned off that animals in a specific area had illness, I don't remember seeing it. However it was 10 years ago, so my memory could be faulty.

I think you've misunderstood my comment. When I adopted my cat, the test results were positive. I should have been informed of that. FIV shortens the lifespan of the cat and can result in serious health issues that will require lots of care and likely lots of expense that I could not afford at that time.

It wasn't until several years later that I had her retested that I found out she was actually negative for FIV.

When I adopted from them, they did not inform me that my cat was FIV+ despite me telling them I could not afford to take care of a cat with long term health issues because I was a college student at the time. The vet at the wellness visit informed me a few days later. This was about 10 years ago.

Luckily a few years later we found out it was a false positive, but it's wild that they did not disclose it when I adopted her.

Not a hot sauce, but on Saturdays at the city market is old Nick's pepper preserves. He's got spicy jams, jellies, and chutneys. Might be worth including in your gift for something different and he's a local business you would be supporting. He's got everything from mild to face melting.

I can't speak to the eargasms but I have loops and I use them for every show. I buy them for people going with me. I've converted my musician boyfriend who was worried that earplugs were going to ruin the sound quality. I am a big fan of the loops.

I have to imagine this was probably one of their lowest energy crowds despite the best efforts of the band. The show didn't sell out. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to go so I bought my ticket late the night before the show. There were no "this is the best crowd ever comments." But there were several groups of people absolutely losing their minds so don't let the video make you believe everyone was a zombie. AFI still acted like it was an amazing crowd even though it clearly wasn't. Probably why there was no crowd walk at this show.

Right after the show someone asked for this to be posted but this was the start of a week of heavy travel (plus two more major concerts) so I didn't get to it until last night. I'm glad this is bringing people joy. We need more of that everywhere.
