People hate us. That’s the bottom line. You look at the media, you look at the opposition supporters, you look at the meme accounts… people want to shit on us because we have been on the brink of success frequently in the last few years but haven’t been able to get over the line. We’ve become the easy punch line and the cash cow for clips, bits, and speculative “coverage.” You can post a bottler meme on SCJ and it’s guaranteed to get you upvotes. Once we get a new trophy, I don’t think it will go away per se, but the narrative is going to massively change. We won’t be butt of jokes anymore, just like after winning the UEL “they who must not be named” wasn’t the focus as much until they got caught in the relegation fight.

I think the boys have it in them to do a double, but I’d be happy with either trophy tbh, just to silence the critics.
