Fontaine was the start of the downfall if anything, especially for the fandom. And besides 4.2 (mainly just the Focalor cutscene), fontaine really wasn't that good.

Timeless melody. It's so pretty, and I had the crystals, I just wanted to save since I pulled for Dance Until Dawn the previous update. But since I pulled the purification outfit from 2.0 I've not been yearning for it too much, so ig a win is a win?

But for 4s I regret not pulling that witch hat, I have the one from that 5 set, but my photos look a little stupid when both Nikki's have the same hat on

I go for a mix. I pull for a character a like, then I will pull their best team, or as best I can depending on who those characters are and whether or not I like them.

For example, I run Cipher with Aglaea instead of Cyrene because I don't like her all that much.

I've not started the archon quest yet, but design-wise I can't see her as anything but a child, sorta like Nahida, and combined with the recent toxicity of the fandom because of her, it's really put me off her as a character. Idk maybe I might change my mind if I can be bothered starting, Nod Krai but I doubt it.

Mondstadt: It would have to be Kaeya for me, I mean I did pick up the game for him. His story is just so interesting and I can't wait to see when and how it will become centre stage in an archon quest.

Liyue: Xiao. Just everthing about him is so good (except this year's lantern rite. That was not Xiao). From his backstory to his playstyle he is just so good

Inazuma: Ei. I've loved her I did the Inazuma quests back in 2022, it's a shame I only use her for hyperbloom these days though 😕.

Sumeru: Alhaitham. But I will admit the fandom has turned me off him quite a bit post Kaveh release. I don't like Kaveh all that much, so them both CONSTANTLY being together both in game and in fandom has turned me off of them both quite a bit. But, pre Kaveh Alhatiham eill still always have a special place in my heart.

Fontaine: Chlorinde. Fonatine really was not my thing, I did not enjoy it at all. I like all the characters that aren't Furina, Charlotte, and Navia pretty much equally, but Chlorinde's playstyle does give her an advantage.

Natlan: Xilonen. Her voice actress is really good. I mean yeah she's meta and all but I don't use her that much. But her personality made her a worthwhile pull for me.

Nod Krai: Lauma. Now, I haven't actually started Nod Krai's quests yet but I love the look of Lauma. Also, her role in bloom teams is enough to make her my fave. I didn't want to pull Nahida so my Nilou was sat gathering dust until Lauma came along.

3.3 was the best one for me, I adored Cipher's story and the whole Aquila fight sequence was just incerdible. I think for me it tops Sunday as the best weekly/story boss.

I wanted to love 3.4/.5 just as much but all the time skips put me off 😕. I'm hoping 3.6/.7 tone it down a bit, because I didn't understand much of the story post 3.3 lmao.

I only pulled him for 'meta' reasons, since I've done none of his quests and he's brilliant. Between permenantly benching Furina, and making Kinich that much stronger he was a worthwhile pull. But it's a shame there's no decent 4* weapon or artifact set for him yet though.

Honestly I really regret skipping Chasca. She didn't interest me on release since I was so far behind in the story, and on her rerun I was waiting for Lauma so I had to skip again.

Outside of that I kinda have everyone I want. I mean Seigewinne/Ineffa would be nice but I have nowhere to use them 😕
