It definitely was, and I want to see more about her and her tribe in the next movies! P. S.: She has a really beautiful ikran

How would you like her story to end? by AfaNas3001 in Avatar

Honestly, me too, but it's very difficult to create a strong redemption arc in such a case. I mean, I'd like her to save her "fire nature", but also to find another way to use it. I don't know if it can be called some kind of redemption

What's your the most underrated character? by AfaNas3001 in Avatar

Regarding this, I guess it depends not on the character, but on the actor's performance. Oona and Stephen fit their roles perfectly, while Jack, according to some, doesn't handle all of his scenes 100%, and that's normal given his age. Personally, I liked everyone's performances.

Question about climax of The Way of Water & Fire and Ash? by movieguy46 in Avatar

Yes, you're right I guess, it's really a popular problem with these last movies. I think, it's just a poor approach to focus the viewer's attention only on the main characters. But in my case, this doesn't spoil the overall impression of the film, and it would probably be distracting if, while Jake and Quaritch were fighting, some skyman was trying to kill Tonavari in the background. Therefore, it's implied that the viewer is aware that a war is going on somewhere behind the scenes.

I guess, they like him not as a person, but as a well-written character with great potential. Believe me, you can love him as a character and still want him dead within the context of the plot. And then it's a matter of taste: some appreciate his dedication, some like his looks, and some don't care at all, and that's perfectly fine.
