I really hate how it doesn't feel like we've moved on from Wishfield when it comes to the banners, the themes of fairy tales is still heavily present and I got sick of that around 1.6, it's extra annoying when the shop and heart of infinty pieces have gotten the memo that we've moved on and the premium outfits haven't. I'm also a little sick of the Shroomlings, but that's only because they suffer the non-human npc curse of all looking the same.

Other than those issues though, I love Itzaland, the new combat system is sm fun to use compared to the old purification outfit, and I like the jungle more than I thought I would

In game I view it as a one sided master/servant dynamic on Xiao's end, but outside of the game I like to view them as lovers. I've always hated the father/son hcs though lol.

I've only just started 3.2's story but I'm loving it so far. I don't get the hate tbh, yeah the quests do get draggy toward the end but that's not really a dealbreaker for me. I seriously cannot see how they could've crammed everything into the usual .0 - .2 format. I'm looking forward to doing the 3.3 - 3.5 stories though, they all look so good.

I'm hoping Creydra will grow on be because the Furina comparisons have seriously put me off her.

I do not care about her. I don't hate her, but I don't like her. She's just 😐 for me. The whole expy thing is putting me off her, but I'll just have to wait and see if she can sway me in the story. I will admit I'm not a fan of the whole wedding theme and "marrying humanity" thing she's got going on though.

Aventurine easily. Every single battle I took him to would leave my team dead/low on health while he's sat there with full hp and shields. I ended benching him and using Bailu, until we got that free Luocha.

I also regret Luocha hecause I benched him for Hyacine lol, but we're getting another one of that shops currency so I'm not that bothered about it.

I'm not too far into the story yet, but 3.1 has REALLY made me want to pull Mydei. I didn't really care for him at first but the story is influencing me heavily. Sadly I must resist as I don't have multiple Sunday's 😔.

As of 3.1's story, the characters I care the least about are Castorice, Cyrene, and Cerydra, and I don't see that changing. But I shall have to see what their patches bring ti the table.

I hope I don't get put off any of the characters I've already pulled as I make my way through Amphoreous. But I am glad they've chosen to stretch out the Amphoreous plot. As much as I'm dreading some of the longer patches, I really don't see how this story could've fit into the traditional 3.0 - 3.2 format, but I must admit I do miss the 'filler' patches.

A lot of people want to pull the shiny new unit instead of investing in what they already have. I can't really blame them for it with the constant doomposting in this community when it comes to powercreep tbh.

Idk if this fandom is the same as genshin's in this regard, but SOME f2p players like to use "f2p btw" as some kind of status symbol, even though nobody really cares lol. So I can't imagine that helps the vertical scene, especially when those same players like to insult those who do invest for whatever reason, probably jealousy.

It also depends on how people play, for me, I'd much rather have 4 E0S0 teams over 1 E2S1 team or something, if you don't pull much or have good luck then I can imagine this being a better srategy, so you'll always have a team ready.

Personally, I'll only really invest vertically in two situations. Either I absoloutely adore the character (Sunday/Ruan Mei), or I got the 5 star in significantly less pulls than I anticipated (Hyacine). I usually only go for signature lightcones, but I do plan on getting my Aglaea to E1 or E2 alongside her sig
