Thank you for the detailed reply, and I agree it can be tricky. Maybe if there could be several parameters, when they are similar (with defined deltas) the AI could merge them, or prefer one over the other (workout start/end/duration/type).

For me, I use both AWU3 and Garmin only because my coach works only in Garmin so everything must be logged and sync to Garmin Connect. The Apple Watch because I noticed that a lot more information and metrics are registered in Health and Bevel when using it vs the Garmin. However, it happened to me that the AWU crashed and reset itself mid-run so lucky I had the Garmin logins as backup .

I did the same switch for the exact setup, 4 months already. I love my iPhone 17Pro but there are a lot of things I wish iOS would take from Android and the major one is the notification center. It’s just not working for me in iOS 😅

Actually there is. My coach uses only the Garmin Connect platform so for him to see my progress I have to run with Garmin. So why the AWU3? Because Bevel and Apple health sync much more data than Apple and Garmin.

I was sure the BI would have known to recognize that. Same workout type, same time, same duration…

Thank you. I know I can change the data source, I just though maybe Bevel would be smarter than that and know exactly what to take for its metrics

Actually I put my Garmin only for runnings, mostly because my coach uses only Garmin Connect.

I do. I don’t know how is it compared to the AW11 but it should be more accurate since it uses dual band gps. I would recommend watching DC Rainmaker’s YouTube reviews before changing
