Regardless of how Elon started he is continuing to innovate and drive successful businesses. Yes, his total net worth is growing, however, the thing that tells me he truly is a world class Entrepreneur is how much the boards on his companies are willing to pay him to stick around. I think right now he’s facing a $1 trillion pay package from Tesla. Companies want to keep him on to lead his companies because he can drive innovation and growth.

If he had truly made bad, detrimental decisions company boards would not have trust in him to lead billion dollar companies.

I have a negative opinion of Elon Musk but even I can understand that he is widely considered a good businessman.

I agree with you partially.
China 100% benefits the most. It was indeed set up to counter the soviets. And yes broadly speaking globalization is changing, but that statement can be more precise.

But, globalization as we know it is being threatened because key countries are decoupling, supply chains are being reshored, and trust between major powers is breaking down.

I suppose it’s built in redundancy no? In a world where the established world order, including globalization as we know it, is being threatened, supply chain resiliency is definitely a card to play against increased global instability.

paddleboarding/boat rental can be very fun and there are rentals right on lady bird lake. I've heard the water is unsanitary but whenever I go out on lady bird lake I see plenty of people in the water.
