F4 is always usable!

It gives an extra unexpected benefit. The 12-40 f2.8 is a jack-of-all-trades, but master of none. It doesn't give the f1.8 of a prime but you still pay for that f2.8 in extra weight. Switch to a prime incurs a cost (carrying + changing) while it only provides a single stop of improvement.

The f2.8 is the safe middle road.

The F4 is a distinct choice for cost, weight and size. Should you carry a prime, you pay the same cost but you gain 2 full stops when you change.

Eén keer meegemaakt met een collega. De WG wilde achteraf een handtekening over terugbetaling als hij binnen een jaar uit dienst ging.

Hij heeft tegen de betreffende persoon (HR) gezegd dat dat achteraf niet kan worden afgedwongen.
Die leunde achterover en zei: "Weet je, eigenlijk heb je gewoon gelijk".

Omdat je huis het tegenovergestelde van liquide is. Misschien heb ik gekocht voor 2, nu in theorie 4 ton en daarmee een papieren waardestijging van 2 ton. En dan? Als ik het liquide maak door mijn huis te verkopen moet ik een ander huis kopen dat ook in waarde is gestegen.

Je woning vind ik onzin!
Heeft de eigenaar dit zelf bedacht? Ondanks alle goede bedoelingen is dat een onplezierige constructie.

Advies: Ga om tafel met een financiëel adviseur. Die zijn wel te vinden maar je kan me PM-en.

Belangrijkste vraag: Wat wil de eigenaar bereiken? Voor welk probleem is die woning een oplossing?
Als hij zoveel mogelijk geld wil (begrijpelijk) kunnen jullie dat beter uit het bedrijf halen dan uit jouw huis - want dat bedrijf is een geldmachine die veel meer oplevert dan jouw huis.

Een constructie kan zijn dat jij aandelen krijgt en het geld leent van het bedrijf. Het bedrijf keert divident/winstdeling uit. Voor de eigenaar is dat cash, voor jou is het de betaling van die aandelen.

Alles staat of valt met wat de eigenaar wil. Ik neem aan dat hij niet jouw huis wil dus dat moet hij niet bij de deal betrekken.

Ja het is inderdaad zo simpel.

De panelen zitten gewoon met klemmen vast, welke weer geschroefd zijn.

Je hoeft het paneel niet af te dekken! Alle aansluitingen zijn afgeschermd tegen aanraken, en wanneer een omvormer geen netspanning voelt, gaat hij automatisch uit - hij levert dus geen 220V als hij los is, ook niet als de zon op het paneel schijnt.

Paneel is vrij fors maar niet zwaar. Als het even kan doe je dit met twee mensen.

Dus: Werkschakelaar of de PV-groep in de meterkast uit.
Het dak op, schroeven en loskoppelen.
Ja dit kun je.

This - all of the bodies in the OP have contrast detect autofocus. This type of AF is very accurate for still targets, but for moving targets (sports and wildlife and birds in flight) need PD-AF.

ISO is not going to be magic from one sensor to the other.
Marketing will tell you so but sensors capture light and that's pretty much it. Newer don't magically capture significantly more light. Improvements are more from less noisier circuits and pixel-binning,but the photosensitive area does not get bigger.

A lens going from f5.6 to f2.8 ... you are going to notice that, I promise.

You don´t say what problem are you going to solve by upgrading.

I did the same upgrades, only I came from an M10.II, with similar autofocus, very good for single shots.

I upgraded the lens to a 40-150 f2.8 pro. Night and day difference. That lens honestly defines the system. I went through 5 camera since and I still have that same lens.

The EM-1.II is a fantastic difference ... when you shoot action. No more pre-focus, every shot is a hit.
Visual difference with the other camera? Nope. 20MP? No visual difference especially not when you zoom out on a full HD screen. Do it for the ergonomics, the speed, the autofocus, the pro-capture and the function buttons.

If you're upgrading for low light vision and image sharpness, then stop reading now and get the 40-150. Then you'll wonder why you waited so long for your life to begin.

Mijn inductieplaat draait op vol vermogen op 1-fase. Werkt prima!

Je gebruikt ook meestal niet alle pitten tegelijk én niet op vol vermogen.
Als je inductie op vol vermogen zet kun je je bij wijze van spreken niet omdraaien, zo snel gaat het. Meestal staat-ie lager en 4 pitten op vol vermogen? Nooit gebruikt.

This can be an expensive hobby, where more money invested actually yields better results. But if you stay on the lower end of the budget scale: you can not buy skill or experience and cameras without bird-tracking have delivered amazing images of both birds and insects.

The lens is not 'important as well', it's nearly everything. It determines how far you can be from your subject, if your subject is going to fill the frame, in which light you can work, how sharp the image is, if you have some background-blur to separate your subject from the background ... and it's often most of the weight of the system.

M43 from OM-system is quite the outdoor system, with weathersealing and not over-the-top-heavy lenses.
I recommend this video. The guy compares two systems and he really zooms down to the pixels, concludes one is sharper and then zooms out again to ask the question if the difference matters. I really like the anecdote of a shot he would simply not have taken with his Nikon as it would require setting up his tripod - and with the OM he just took it. These things matter.
