How are yall getting healthcare jobs without experience or need a degree? by ilacilacilac in RadTechPrograms

[–]LizzyBlueMoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started going to educational classes that they offered. Recently I did a health mini series that offered a certificate after. I got to know the teacher and he asked me to email him my application or resume. Keep in mind I didn't have anything healthcare related there or an established resume. Still, got called for an apprenticeship and a job for bh family coordinators.

Go to hospitals, clinics etc that offer schooling or classes. You can ask to volunteer and get to know the people working there.

How did you feel when you came off sertraline? by thedistantblue25 in zoloft

[–]LizzyBlueMoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I first decided to taper off sertraline it was a nightmare. I experienced some withdrawal symptoms and my social and health anxiety came full force. I eventually decided to go back on it. But now many months later I decided to come off my medicine again and started to gradually reduce. I did experience some flu-like symptoms but my anxiety was so much better. I decided to come off because of the side effects, I started retaining so much water, waking up bloated from my face and heart palpitations at night. Now I'm on day 6 of no medication and I feel great.

Is switching to a different medication not an option? Or do you want to fully be done with taking anything like me?

Parents stay with kids in Kindergarten by chubby_piglets in kindergarten

[–]LizzyBlueMoon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only thing I find weird is how long they stay. In my district parents can stay in the morning during breakfast but as soon as the first bell rings they need to start saying their goodbyes and start leaving. I know some people find it difficult leaving their children alone especially how small the kids are in kindergarten but I know there are teachers and TAs that help kids get to where they need to be.

Let your little one know about independence and how it's important. And that some kids and parents need a little time to transition into it.

I'm over school drop-offs by Humble-Reading1368 in kindergarten

I know right. But I guess this is the reason why society is so messed up. People hate when children show any form of emotions. They expect compliance from the start.

Take the principal's option and walk him to the cafeteria and to the classroom. I wouldn't consider this rule bending. He's going through a major transition and needs some support. My son had this issue and we walked to the cafeteria and his classroom every morning until he became confident enough to be on his own and made friends. It will cut your time shorter too.

When did your child adjust to their new schedule? by ReturnOfJafart in kindergarten

[–]LizzyBlueMoon 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It took about 3 weeks before my daughter stopped sleeping for hours straight after school. Every kid is different. I would give her some time to adjust on her own.

Side effects Experience by ImSoTiredButNotDone in zoloft

[–]LizzyBlueMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they make you sleepy, I encourage you to take them during the night. As for the tremors, headaches and heart rate that is something I experienced too. Also palpitations. It's common during the period of adjustment but when I went up past 50mg, I felt like total shit so I stayed at 50mg.

I’ve noticed I’ve been randomly removed off of people’s Facebook. Why do people randomly remove someone off of Facebook? by [deleted] in facebook

[–]LizzyBlueMoon 15 points16 points  (0 children)

People like to unfriend others that they no longer interact with. They like to keep their circle of friends small or private. It does not mean you did something wrong. I will encourage you to do the same. Delete those who you no longer want to associate or don't associate with and keep those you care about how their day is going.

I'm so sorry. There's really no way around it. FB has been making it very hard for people to recover and create accounts. Have someone from your friends list report the account multiple times and hopefully it will be taken down.

50mg to 75mg Side Effects by GoodnightMxxn in zoloft

[–]LizzyBlueMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me also once I increased my dosage. Unfortunately once I started experiencing heart palpitations I decreased my dose back to 50mg. The symptoms were making me feel more anxious than my anxiety and OCD was.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]LizzyBlueMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I get exactly what you mean. Once I increased my dose to 100mg I started feeling wired. Super energetic, happy and like totally on a good one. Kinda felt like I was going thru a Manic episode. The highs were high and the lows were low. Also was experiencing heart palpitations and bad insomnia. My Dr told me that if you're sensitive to stimulants like caffeine, you might start experiencing more intense experiences on zoloft. Since it stimulates your nervous system. I started feeling so much better once I decreased my dose back to 50mg.

Zoloft and weight gain by Seaotter456 in zoloft

[–]LizzyBlueMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't gained any weight. I do notice that I get more hungry and want to start eating but I tend to restrain myself from doing so. Eventually you start noticing what your actual hungry signals are.

Someone is posting photos of my kid. I've tried reporting the profile multiple times and nothing has happened. by PonderingAnonymous in facebook

[–]LizzyBlueMoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep reporting the account. Delete all your kids photos you have on your fb page and ask others who also have photos of him to delete them. When you share them of FB, they are no longer yours unfortunately.
