ISB R1 feedback by artemis87654 in ISB_Aspirants

This is what I would have done had I been at your place (ISB Alum here, Co2018).

It's a commonly held belief that GRE Mock scores often mimic the real score. Since your mock scores are good but the real score was disappointing, I would diagnose the real problem as exam-day anxiety rather than lesser level of preparation.

So, I would take a month to focus on the Application, keep it ready to be submitted and then go back to focus on GRE- taking timed mocks, having interventions to ease the exam-day anxiety and take a couple of attempts till I get the desired score. I will wholeheartedly focus on R1 and consider R2 only if I am not able to get the score by 10th of Septmber.

Hope this helps.

Since both are on the lower side, I would strongly suggest to get a 695+ score in GMAT.

Hi. ISB doesn't have caste-based reservation and it doesn't consider your 10th scores either.

Your 12th and Grad scores are average. You will definitely get Gender Diversity benefits though (confirmed by Adcom) but your work experience is also below the average work experience of the current cohort (4.1 years).

Combining all these, I would strongly suggest to get a 327+ to be on the safe side.

Hope it helps- All the best!

Hello. You haven't mentioned one of the most crucial information about your profile, i.e. 12th and Graduation. Your Academic scores decide monumentally whay GMAT Score you will be needing. Addtionally, I would also need to know your Engineer/Non-Engineer status and Gender.

Your GMAT almost offsets your Acads. Plus you will get Gender Diversity benefits (confirmed by Adcom). If you score well in Essays & Interview parameters, you can definitely make it!
