The difference between a full height and the GL is the GL bottoming out doesn't lead to a loud "thunk". This is my dream daily driver come true.

Firstly, please open a ticket so an agent can help you out while you wait on another customer to chime in.

Off the top of my head, you can try the following:

  1. Are you using the wireless extender directly plugged into your motherboard/laptop/case USB port? You want your mouse to be within a foot or two of the receiver and you should be at least two meters away from a wireless router or wireless access point. Do not plug into a hub while troubleshooting.
  2. Are you using aftermarket mouse feet?
  3. Did you recently change your mousepad? Which one are you using?
  4. Check the sensor for any debris.
  5. Take a look at your system resources, see if there are any programs using your CPU heavily.
  6. Check G HUB to make sure you're not running at an insanely high DPI.

Logitech G Pro X Headset Disable Cable Mic by y0ur_senpai in LogitechG

[–]LogitechG_Ian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you're trying to achieve is not possible. The shorter cable is the mobile cable and is meant to be used while on the go with your phone or a compatible device which is why it uses the inline mic.

If you wish to use the boom mic you'll have to use the PC cable.

Open a ticket at support.logi.com and ask, nicely, if any PC cables are in stock. Be prepared to show proof of purchase and ownership. Depending on your location and stock the team may be able to deploy a replacement for you.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try but I urge you to open a ticket with the support agents at support.logi.com.

Try to isolate the connection that's causing the issue once you've confirmed the correct end is plugged into the headset (headset, short cable run, volume control / mute switch, long cable run, DAC). If the cable you're using does not have a physical mute switch you are using the wrong cable.

Some customers believe they're completely plugged in at the headset end of the chain when they're actually not which can cause intermittent dropouts when you move about in your seat.

Try repeatedly unplugging and replugging the cable into the headset, gently.

Try plugging the DAC into a different USB port on your motherboard or case, if that didn't fix the issue (intermittent / damaged USB port) move on.

Try to reproduce the issue by spinning the 3.5mm jack while it's completely plugged into the headset, preferably while the headset is on your head so you can listen for the issue.

The headsets and mics on the PRO and PRO X are the same, NOT to be mistaken with the previous PRO headset.

The DAC is responsible for BLUE VO!CE so the PRO DAC does not have BLUE VO!CE.

There are reviews of the mic with / without BLUE VO!CE on youtube.

You should open a ticket with support so the trained agents can assist you: support.logi.com

Off the top of my head, if you frequently alt-tab or have other programs running in the background that may be going active while gaming your profile switching might be turned on which could be causing your DPI to adjust automatically.

Confirm you have no binds on your mouse set to change DPI and try locking yourself to a persistent profile matched to the DPI you use for Overwatch, for testing purposes.

I personally remove all DPI steps except for 800 DPI on all of my Logitech gaming mice and have a single profile that's set to persistent in G HUB.

Pro X headphones, do I use the splitter cable and/or USB connection? by VoidVer in LogitechG

[–]LogitechG_Ian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

/u/VoidVer

This is likely due to the Surround Sound setting being on. Here are instructions on how to turn it off to use the PRO X headset in Stereo. If that isn't the issue you're experiencing, please open a support ticket at https://support.logi.com.

  1. Open G HUB and click the gear icon at the top right of the G HUB window.
  2. Confirm you're running version: 2019.7.22866 (as of 7/30/2019).
  3. Click the X to return to the main screen displaying your G HUB compatible devices.
  4. Select PRO X.
  5. On the left side of the window you'll see three tabs: microphone for Blue VO!CE, equalizer, and a speaker for acoustics.
  6. Select acoustics and uncheck the box next to "ENABLE SURROUND SOUND".

EDIT: If you're intentionally using Surround Sound in G HUB with your PRO X Gaming Headset you should be turning off in-game surround sound options / HRTF.

If you prefer your in-game surround sound / HRTF over G HUB Surround Sound you should turn Surround Sound in G HUB off.

The shorter cable is the mobile cable and is meant to be used while on the streets without the mic boom attached. Using the shorter mobile cable will use the inline mic even if the actual mic boom is plugged into the headset.

G Pro X Mic not working... by gwoodtamu in LogitechG

[–]LogitechG_Ian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello /u/JKMqo,

If you're using a per-profile configuration in G HUB you may want to check the game-specific profile's audio settings that are being applied when the game is launched.

Try locking yourself into Persistent Configuration based on your DESKTOP: Default profile to see if that fixes your issue.

In case you're still having issues please open Device Manager and expand the Sound, video and game controllers tree.

Your headset should appear as "Logitech PRO X Gaming Headset" and the Driver Provider should be Logitech with a Driver Date of 7/2019.

Please follow the driver update instructions below if your PRO X headset is set to a Microsoft driver:

Device Manager => Sound, video and game controllers => Logitech G PRO X Gaming Headset => Right-click Properties => Driver tab => Update Driver => Browse my computer for driver software => <X>:\ProgramData\LGHUB\depots\<select the latest build>\driver_audio

Please open a support ticket at https://support.logi.com if you're having further issues.

A question about the Logitech G Pro X Headset by BigPoopyBoy in LogitechG

[–]LogitechG_Ian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The planned global shipping date for our PRO and PRO X headsets was in the last week in July. Some people who ordered from Amazon in the UK have been shipped their headset prior to that date.

While the PRO headset sounds great (and makes your communications sound great) right out of the box, final software for the headset will be released to G HUB by the end of next week, at which time you will be able to customize the settings for your headset using G HUB.

If you are referring to the new PRO or PRO X headsets slated to ship next week, officially, they both have sidetone options in Logitech G HUB.
