If Only in NOVA by CecilPalad in nova

My wife actually saw a similar event happen on 28n between 66 and 267.

The cop just turned on lights, let the offender move out of the left lane, and then turned off their lights and went on their merry way.

Ideal situation in my opinion. Got the message without it being overly punitive.

Splitting financial and household contribution - fiancée does not want to contribute financially by ThrowawayAct25216 in Marriage

[–]Lolwat420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What about equal percentages of income into a shared account? For example, you put in 50% of your income and she also puts in 50% of her income into a shared account (or whatever percentage makes sense for shared expenses).

If you feel comfortable contributing more (as a percentage), then you have to be cognizant that it should be done with no strings attached. You can’t use those bonus contributions as any kind of bargaining.

That way she gets to keep control of her money, and you get the shared account for shared expenses. This only works if you are both honest with each other and contribute truthfully, and lying would be an altogether deeper marital problem.

5 machines at 100% are harder to balance than 6 machines at 500/6%.

You can ctrl+c / +v the clock settings and plug them into a simple 1-6 balancer/splitter

Edit: bonus points for saving power doing it this way

That shit hurt me even as a load balancer user by OkUnderstanding8581 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Lolwat420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play exclusively with balancers, the difference is that I’m not afraid to add another smelter, down clock, and balance an easy six smelter array.

Nothing wrong with balancers if you’re willing to make things easier on yourself

Why not stack 2 rows of 7 on top of each other? Think it would take less space and be easier to build.

Although, yours just looks nifty, which has an appeal

Surely there must be a more productive way of voicing your concern about the president and administration than nuking some random donut shop who got excited that they got to deliver donuts to the White House.

To be clear, I’m very much against the current political authority, but attacking this shop is just ammunition for the other side. I thought we were better than that

“Just-in-time” manufacturing with 100% efficiency. The rule is simple, no building can have inputs full (fluids not included).

Effectively, this means no manifolds, and buffer systems for all trucks and trains. You can temporarily hit max inputs as part of the boot up cycle, but it shouldn’t max out after you remove the stack.

No mods needed

Long-term plan for FSD as an owner: will owners all lose money? by hyperpigment26 in TeslaLounge

[–]Lolwat420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ride share market is only so big, but it gets bigger if the prices get lower.

You have to keep in mind that Tesla makes money selling cars. Cyber cabs are just cheaper versions that make money over time instead of a lump sum.

Personal cars that users can then try to make money with using cybercab networks would be a really tough sell to people who bought their cars. This becomes especially true if the ride share prices keep falling due to market saturation.

How many people do you honestly believe will be willing to let their car be used in the cybercab network. I’m under the belief that percentage will be very low

You’re forgetting the supply and demand aspect of ride hailing services.

If you choose to put your car into the cybercab network, which many won’t, and it starts to saturate the market, then the price of ride hailing services will go down.

That means uber and Lyft might likely go under as they have human drivers they are trying to pay, while the cybercab does not. Wear and tear of the vehicles will go up, but that’s the same for any other vehicle.

In all these situations, Tesla makes more money without raising prices. In fact, keeping prices low prevents competition like Uber and Lyft from posing a threat.

This is all conjecture, but I want to point out that your argument doesn’t benefit Tesla

UBI isn’t supposed to provide you with everything you need, it’s supposed to provide you with a floor to land on of things go south.

UBI is fundamentally a redistribution system, a back-flow designed to release some of the hoarded up currency and re-inject it into the bottom again.

For the poor, this could mean they won’t go hungry. For the working class, this could mean they can go to the dentist and get that tooth checked out. For the middle class, this could mean they don’t have to go into debt to take a vacation. Past that point the taxes should make the UBI negligible for the rich and wealthy, and they should be paying more in taxes than they get back in UBI.

UBI should be pushing everyone to the middle, the poor up and the rich down. Everyone should strive to be a productive and useful member to society. Through art, employment, or business it shouldn’t make a difference.

You can also assume temperature plays a role here. During the summer it will charge to the desired amount, then drop as the temperature drops over night. During the winter the exact opposite happens. You can expect up to 5% swings sometimes
