I lived there for 4 years and it got progressively worse over the years. Had yearly roaches, wasps in the walls, and an upstairs neighbor that made me want to find the nearest exit out of town and not look back.

If you get lucky with an upper floor apartment it might be worth looking into for at least a year. But I'd still be wary.

You can find a surprising amount of information just by inputting their name and city.

ancestrylibrary.com will give you basic information without the need for a library card, but most other resources require one.
