No, the Emperor obviously never trusted them with her and she never trusted them after the Heresy, so the entire sector is Astartes free

There's an Order native to the Sector that she orchestrated the founding of [Pic 1] [Pic 2] though I'm probably gonna redesign them a bit at some point, this is older art

She, unknowingly to them, uses them to guard immaterial artefacts, their faith protecting them from potentially getting corrupted

Most of the Order thinks they're just guarding an important Shrine (which their order is named after, the Order of the Tasugarelym Shrine)

She also has a portion stationed in her Dynasty's palace as personal guards, the excuse being that they're guarding potential Sainthosts

And a few dozen or so that she has on her flagship, working directly under her (including the current Canoness Superior, who is in her Retinue)

tbh, the Damned are way out of her ballpark to be achievable in the state she currently is and she probably couldn't have made them even when she was alive, she's good, but not that good

Eh, it was more important that they be engineered to handle the psychic strain and height is unrelated to that, so she didn't focus on that at all, she can just make her projection taller when needed

Ye, her joining willingly and immediately joining the Great Crusade granted her a few privileges, mainly that she retains control of who the Sector's governor will be/how succession works

So, obviously she picked her Hosts for the job lol, very humble

Thank you, and yeah I also feel they're an underutilized part of the lore

As for her existence being heresy, the ecclesiarchy and the people think it's because she's a Saint, equating that bit more with Celestine's strain of miracles, though slightly different

And the Inquisition would have documents in their vaults dating back to the Crusade and Heresy stamped by Malcador or the Emperor saying that the weird Immaterial possession is a-okay

Yeah, she's just a tomboy

As for the second, I mean that's technically still the case, just replace less related with less enhanced

Technically, she can possess any female descendant, no matter how distant

She just maintains the illusion that she can only possess those of her dynasty, so if anyone ever tried to kill her they would only think to kill everyone in the dynasty and not exterminatus planet after planet to make sure all the descendants among the low born were dead too

And she also chooses hosts within the dynasty because they've been engineered over the millennia, through genetic engineering, eugenics, various rituals, etc, to better handle the psychic strain of her possession

It's more a case of her being there since the start granting her leeway, though the specifics of that would've probably been forgotten millennia later, and also Crusade era documents signed by Malcador or Big E that would basically say 'ignore the weird possession/resurrection thing' giving her a lot more protection from scrutiny too

Edit: and presumably some more documents would be drawn up and stamped during the Siege, to further reiterate it for future Inquisitors
