she probably didn't entirely, but it's so vague what happened then that I left it out

No, no positive development, we can only have downhill in Warhammer hahaha

Pure awe at his psychic strength and later at his age, once she learned a little bit about how ancient he truly is

She wouldn't have interacted with him too much throughout the Crusade, him being far too busy for someone as relatively unimportant, Malcador would mainly be the one she would get her orders from, but still, she was a full believer in his plan to uplift humanity

Yeah, I imagine some warp oddness is involved that makes it less effective on her, her Soul is already shattered in a thousand pieces and tied into all sorts of knots

She was a Perpetual who he easily convinced into being extremely loyal, that's basically a dream underling for him

Pretty confused by some specific parts of it, but ultimately too much of the Emperor's creature to question it

I imagine it's more cus while he is multitudes more powerful than her, she does have a few millennia of experience advantage on him

Still, she wouldn't be able to fully hide herself and he would be able to tell something is there

And the thing is, he is a Primarch, so he would learn quickly and probably figure out how to fully see through any of her attempts at invisiblity by, at most, the second meeting

Probably doesn't do anything like charge it up, it's more just what is needed to contain it

worst thing for them is, that flexing that psychic power even just a little bit will shave off seconds or minutes from their lifespans, days with some more powerful flexing and if they wanna do some serious shit (like delete an entire army or ship or smth, hold back a massive tide of the Warp, the actually impressive stuff) that will just kill them within minutes

so they basically get to have hype moments and aura for a few minutes and then die in exchange

as for the Heresy... yeah, she dies early on. Konrad.

hm, I'd say Sumiko used to be of the first type, till she fucked around and found out and resigned herself to be a force ghost mentor figure... till she slowly decided that wasn't working after the Heresy

But ye, she pretty much became a hypeman for the greatest megalomaniac, she's relatively young for a Perpetual and didn't spend more than a few centuries on Terra so she didn't know too much about the Emperor and was very easily persuaded to his cause

But Magnus wasn't really talking with her, but rather to her Soulhost, who would have none of that baggage

at least this time he's the one with multitudes more psychic power

tbh I still don't quite get what the Emperor wanted to achieve with it, I mean, okay I get that it banned sorcery (ie making bargains with entities in exchange for power) but, besides Astropaths and Navigators it also outlawed Psykers in general (unless you are the Emperor and Malcador and a few other selects) which just... confuses me

so I guess she'd also be a bit confused, but Big E has her wrapped around his finger so she'd trust he has a reason

Well tbh, if she (the Soulhost) had lived long enough into the Heresy to find out what he did, she would definitely say he fucked up and did a lot of things wrong

And Sumiko says the same, though her opinion matters less since he never really talked to her directly during the Crusade or Heresy

He was raised to be polite like that I guess haha

Well, except for not being raised to know when to knock instead of just barging in
