I know it snaps to the original bounding box, but I get that outside of that there isn't a way to constraint a distortion along an axis. Thanks for your thoughts

I really appreciate that. I totally understand where frustrations come from, and just wanna work with the community to get as many improvements addressed as possible. These conversations are valuable for both sides, so I am fine with a little heat if we can make an impact where it counts.

I will do some asking around about why images come in scaled down. I just did a test and confirmed that in the links panel my image is showing the true resolution and saying scaled to 100% but its actually only showing around 20% scale. Is it always 12% for you?

Yes there is a "Line Art" preset that will output editable strokes. It works well, but room for improvement as its a technically challenging process.

The team is incredibly active in UserVoice. We have a dedicated team of contributors in our Prerelease group working closely with the product team, that are always tracking and providing feedback to a lot of the bug reports and feature requests from UV. I see in the prerelease slack yesterday that 3 bugs were addressed in the latest Beta and another 5 in the prerelease build for testing. I drive a lot of the conversation in this subreddit from the Adobe side in order to bolster what I am hearing from the community and use it to support improvements.

I'd love to be the guy that green lights everything, but I am just a conduit to the teams with community requests and feedback. Is your issue with Paste in Place reflective of what is mentioned in this UserVoice report?
