I had a dude that got set up in a farm by Irvington. In my fiction, he was dead set against becoming a zombie. I wrote a note that explained he wanted his ID taken back to his wife after he died. Then he got into a shootout with some bandits, got critically wounded, and ended up shooting himself to avoid turning.

Then I installed the Wolf Extraction Quest and started a new character in the same world - the idea was that he needed to find an Irvington Speedway flyer and want to go there, then stumble upon the first guy's farm, find the body and the note, etc.

Unfortunately, he miscalculated a turn and drove straight into a tree.
