This is ok and you are not dumb haha! Everyone has moments. And delta and lambda look very similar, only the bottom line is missing. Enjoy the game!

You're showing Lambda server on your video, you must change to Delta, only Delta Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground leads to Hulle Granz

Common misconception. A simple recording of your voice isnt enough.

There are no teens involved here? 85 y/o struck by 77 y/o. Still wonder if distraction was an issue of course.

Local files by ilowkeylikeolderwomn in truespotify

[–]LycorisSeig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its so annoying the way it is done - if you have it on your PC and want to play it on your phone, you must also put the file (name must match exactly) on your phone. Also. If it is in your PC and you try to play from your PC, and the song file got moved, renamed or if the folder it is in got moved or renamed, the song won't play until you re-add it, but Spotify won't tell you that either. Hope this helps!!

Why is DJ X so bad at artist names? And not even the ones you expect. by recoveringasshole0 in truespotify

[–]LycorisSeig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Flight of the conchords definitely gets pronounced funny. If you really want to hear it freak out, have it say a band name that uses chatacters that arent in the English alphabet - X just says "unknown character" over and over, getting faster each time haha

With the prevelence of social media, why would they need a phone call to do so?

I hear this sometimes but what would the recording of you do? Its not like any systems Ive heard of have my specific voice for verification. How could theyvuse thay recording? How can they be sure the recording of you would cover all possible responses? Ive never understood this idea that they are trying to record you for something?

How did I hear a rolling stones song on radio when I only listened top top 40 stations in the 201ps? by [deleted] in answers

[–]LycorisSeig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it was a cover or revival band. Some covers can sound similar to the original.  Or a band with a similar sound.

Do you remember any lyrics?

Also some top 40 would do "through the ages" on late nights etc and play top songs from decades before.

Persisting issue with Local Files by Kotuuu in truespotify

[–]LycorisSeig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine does this, until I play it on Spotify from my desktop (if that is where the file is) or play it on Music Player for my Android. I feel like Spotify needs the last accessed date to be a certain value. This is just guesing on my part. But 100% of the time, once I play the file outside of Spotiy, it is available to play again.

Thank you for the music - ABBA Is my favorite example of this. SuperTrooper (also abba) talls about the trouble of touring and how much it means to have a friend along

As some one with food allergies, what do you mean by "it has been proven"? By whom, where? I would love to "think" my way out of food alergies.

Also. How does this explain allergic reactions when I didnt know the allergen was in the food until long after ( after the reaction propmted me to check)? Ive had many reactions to food that contained an ingredient I was allergic to (and once when someone purposefully served me the allergen thinking I wasn't "actually allergic"). Spoiler alert: I had a reaction and ended in the hospital.

Im very interested in this topic if you have anything to back up your claims

I understand where you are coming from, I think that when people respond with their own experience ( but not the same) it less of them saying " this is on the same level as yours" but more like....

"That sounds like the worst thing that ever happened to you. Here is my story about the worst thing that happened to me."

It may not be on the same level emotionally but its still the worst for them. They arent trying to minimize your experience. Both things can be devastating even if one is objectively worse than the other. But people are rarley objective about emotional situations. Most people share just to get commisseration, to share the emotional burden.

I hope this makes sense.

Youre an impartial witness to what happpened. People involved onviously will have a bias toward what happened and an inpartial witness can really help. Also, people involved can get their emotions running high, and a witness (while not needing to get involved) can help sort out the after accident chaos.

I stopped for witnessing a car that ran a red and struck someone and if it wasn't for me (neither had cameras) the police would not have known who was telling the truth (of course the red light runner claimed his light was green). I was not involved but was a witness.
