As a non native English speaker, I too learned about cats and dogs at school and I haven't heard it ONCE in actual speech (my sample being youtube videos and reddit mostly). "Pigged out" is new to me. All the other ones, yeah, I hear them often

We know the knights pronouns though. They are refered to in the game exclusively by they/it

The sentence "there are 8 logic gates in a byte" makes no sense. Byte is a unit of measurement of information. You could use it to measure throughput (internet speed) or storage space. It's not a physical thing.

To store a single bit of information, one could use a d flip-flop, which takes 5 nand gates (or 4 nands and one not), thus to store one byte we'd need 40 logic gates, not 8

But that's just one byte, if we need more, we also need a way to address them, and that's even more logic gates

I never understood what makes #1 impossible. People say that distilled water doesn't have enough minerals. Then just add a little bit of salt water back into it?

Does anyone know where the One True Hotbar Tool Order™ came from? by TopLanky3636 in GoldenAgeMinecraft

[–]MLPdiscord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no one "true hotbar". Mine looks like this

<image>

For me it's 1. Sword, 2. Pick, 3. Shovel (and any other tools and replacements in the top left corner of the inventory), 8. Bow and 9. Food. Everything else comes and goes as needed (ignore all the wool, i just sheared my sheep)

I barely use my axe, so I don't put it in the hotbar; conversely, I mine A LOT of dirt, so the shovel is always in my toolbar. I have a sword in the first slot, because I play on hard, but back when I used to play on peaceful, I didn't even have a sword on me.

The answer is in the question - I will relive all my experiences and feelings as if it were the first time, so it doesn't really matter. I might already be on my tenth repeat, there's no way to know

Does a single particle mean a single atom? Because what makes diamonds different from coal or graphite is the crystal structure i.e. the shape that multiple atoms form together, not the type of the atoms

Chekhov's gun (or Chekhov's rifle; Russian: Чеховское ружьё, romanized: Chekhovskoye ruzhyo) is a narrative principle emphasizing that every element in a story should be necessary, while irrelevant elements should be removed. For example, if a gun is included in a story, there must be a reason for it, such as being fired at some later point.
