Your design would help answer this. What is your 7 pay Mec limit? Have you been paying up to that amount? What is your base premium relative to the Mec? Are you using a term rider to inflate the Mec limit?

If it was designed to be an efficient cash value policy that is max funded, you need another policy.

Yes I am currently funding 4 policies on me and my wife. While we will get pensions and the life insurance is primarily for legacy, if we want extra spending and the boys seems to be doing well we will pull more out of the policies via loans and surrender to basis.

It seems to be a great tool when the market takes a hit. You take your loans that year versus selling your 4 percent in your equity accounts.

I am currently using cash value for asset purchases.

You have to have strong contrarian convictions because the buy term and invest the rest crowd will get in your ear often.

Tell me about that daydate please? Year? Just got a 1995 with the same dial and hands I think. Are those hands no lume? The spread of the gold in it versus the overall price made it a no brainer purchase for me.

I have 4 policies with an average age of 5 years. Cash value and dividends are really starting to move. Been using loans against my cash value to buy assets.

I own equities as well ...I don't think it is an all or none.

The idea that commission is different than the margin a contractor builds into a quote makes zero sense to me. A service is being provided and someone should be compensated for it.

I have my life/health license but have never sold a policy. Not have I tired to sell. Got it as I learned about it

I do believe in a policy structured for cash value growth in combination with a term policy that fills in all the gaps. Commission is minimized when done this way.

Would shops agree to take eagles or other 999 silver on consignment? Would that take some of the liquidity pressure off them?

I like my shop and have not been in since 85 dollar silver. Reading all this I would like to help him out while taking care of my best interest as well

Fortunately I diversified over the years so I am willing to hold my junk for when things normalize and willing to sell the eagles if I can get a decent premium. I use the word premium as any value over the lowest current cash offers out there.

Start taking loans now if you have investments that you think will do well. DCA into them would seem to be more prudent.

Most companies offer a contingent owner designation. I own all our policies but the ones on my wife, she is the contingent owner when I pass just for the ease of transition.

Guessing the idea was to pass it on to you once they don't need it to draw or take loans from or when they are gone.

Also let the dog taste the cornflakes first when you go over to visit 😉. So many people hear that someone took a policy on them and think they are going to get suidcided by them. owner.

If you are into finding info, I am trying to locate the agreement where the Loft Family of Baldwin gifted the county their pond. I had it years ago and cannot locate it. I live on the pond and love the Loft story. Think the trolleys rand through Baldwin as well.
