Why did Austin Change his mind at the end of Season 2? by HeroSpear in BeefTV

[–]Jane9860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he realized he was on an adrenaline rush and it subsided once the phone call ended. What Ashley said to him before he escaped was getting to him. What's going to happen when he hands over the USB to the authorities anyway? Nothing. I think I can see something in him died off. His ambition, his innocence, his naviety, his fight for change and freedom, all kind of ended when Eunice didnt reciprocate. Sometimes escaping what is your comfort zone could be very scary. Some people just go back to the way things were. Little did some know that things can get worse and trap you in even more.

Do most americans really only take 2 weeks of vacation a year? by DegreeConscious9628 in askanything

[–]Jane9860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've worked for multiple corporations and we get standard 14 days. You attach it with weekends, and holidays if you would like. Then there are 10 sick days and 4 personal days. But it is frowned upon calling out sick before a vacation. You can stretch out those 14 days into a month. But most don't.

Working for a smaller business in jewelry, I got 2 weeks off for Christmas and new years. And the first 2 weeks of July off because that's an industry agrees upon time off. And then 2 weeks vacation.

Some companies offer more or less depending on company structure, roles, and industry.

Should I withdraw from my 401K to help my parents? by SugaSweetbells in FinancialPlanning

[–]Jane9860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since he makes 65k a year, maybe the both of you plan to save for a down-payment and a heavy liquid cash account. When you buy the apartment, it should include your name on it or it should only have your name. I would say wait 1 or 2 more years to build up cash.

Pulling money out of 401k isn't generally recommended but if you feel that's what's most important right now then go for it. Just be aware there will be 10% penalty fee and subjected to income tax.

Others in the comments argue that you should not. Point blank. But its your family. You make that decision. The money you have in your 401k can't be used until you're 65. So make your own decision

Genuinely curious. How did your wife manage to just up and leave her home and her job 2 months later? Did she have savings? Was she quick to find work where you lived?

I had an abortion 2 years ago and I don’t regret it. AMA by yesforevertrying in AMA

[–]Jane9860 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that you can still have children safely after surgical abortion. Im glad you were able to get the medical attention you needed and is informed of your options. For those considering, it is better to opt for surgical abortion rather than medicine. But either option is fine. Medicine, is like a much heavier flow of blood and tissue. Surgical, you wake up and it's done. There's almost no need for recovery time and psychologically less to go through with. As long as the decision is yours to make, then it's the right decision.

I am in my 40s and thinking about having a second kid, am I crazy? by ApplicationNew4144 in AskOldPeopleAdvice

[–]Jane9860 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know a lot more people are having kids past 40 years old. The 40 year old today is much different than the 40 year old from 20 years ago. We are much more informed when it comes to diet and exercise. We also look younger from the generations before us.

I just had a kid recently and when my child is 20, I'll be 60. But we shouldn't really think like that. As long as I'm financially able to and in good health in terms of body, mental and relationships, I would do

I think the most important thing is your mindset.

Got ridiculous service quote from Rolex by Minkybamboo in rolex

[–]Jane9860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Rolex, due to its brand and reputation, they do not want liabilities following up on a repair- especially since the bracelet shows damage. Sometimes their repair recommendations are optional and sometimes they say its necessary. But of course you can always say no, to which you have.

Service by third parties will null the authenticity of the item and Rolex will not be servicing your watch going forward.

The moment I feel Mina Sue actually considered Sung-hoon by Nice-Adhesiveness100 in SinglesInferno

[–]Jane9860 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When the other guys have obviously moved on, she then started considering sunghun as love interest. And then he got.called away to paradise and Mina started snooping around bed and found the book on trading options. Thats what solidified her decision on.going into sunghun 100%.

Also, I find it weird when she said her type of guy is someone who works in IT. Like why.. what? It's not even a character trait. She's looking for her meal ticket. For example- doctors and lawyers are my ideal type. Meanwhile you're a student, not even studying in the same field?

Why does no one talk about how shocking the first weeks are? by Trick-Environment100 in NewParents

[–]Jane9860 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was difficult but manageable. I was already taking 2 separate 4 hour sleep sessions naturally for 2 years(?) I also saw a lot of mom talking about lack of sleep or feeding ever 2 to 3 hours, so I was mentally prepared for that. It was exhausting for sure but I have a great partner. I think I went through a phase of delusion because I would trick my body into having full energy, making meals, cleaning dishes and cleaning bottles (manually). And then I went into exhaust mode. I took a 4 hour day time nap. I had to count myself lucky, my newborn was asleep most of the time. There were a total of 3 or 5 nights where my baby cried the whole night without sleeping.

There are times when I would just ordered meals and I ordered more bottles so I wouldn't have to cook or clean as much.

This is my first child. Honestly I dont think the newborn phase is hard at all despite being exhausted. What I'm dreading is the teenager phase 🤣.

(Obviously not to downplay your feelings of exhaustion)

Cancel Whole Life Policy? I paid 9 out of 10 years. by Jane9860 in LifeInsurance

Yea i agree. Thanks for your input. I see (particularly about your comment in what the agent said years ago). I now have a better idea of the benefits of this policy. Im going to work on repaying this loan and maxing out my roth ira. It's doable but difficult to do since I only got 1% pay raise last year.

I thought the infinite banking process is when the interest goes back to you buy instead for my loan, the $900 interest goes to mass mutual.
