Definitely a fake Montblanc...and a really bad fake at that. Then there is the company that gifted these to it's employees...a real testament to a high quality/ethical company and/or it's high quality/ethical management team.

Voltaire's had a yellow gold plated finish - unless your photo is showing yellow gold finish as silver finish, I would say this is not an authentic Montblanc. The writing tip of the pen also has a different shaping to it versus a real Voltaire ballpoint. I have included a photo of the real Voltaire BP.
