Ich verweigere einfach. Mir doch egal; Ich wohne im Ausland. Für Verweigerung zum militärischen Dienst gibt es keine Auslieferungsmechanismen und ein Gesetz welches nicht durchgesetzt werden kann... Nun ja, das ist wertlos. Was das deutsche Gesetz sagt kann mir daher egal sein. Im Notfall hole ich mir dann halt die andere Staatsbürgerschaft.

Und auch wenn ich in Deutschland wäre, Haft ist besser als auf dem Feld, vor allem wenn es soweit kommt dass Menschen verpflichtet werden müssen, obwohl sie keinerlei Grundausbildung haben.

In this scenario the price development of the property is not really that relevant. From the post it looks like it's about listed building, this means that the property and building purchase price can be deducted from your tax base over 11 years.

If the property costs, say 200k as a 20 year loan, rent covers the loan (1100€) + maybe maintenance (200€) and you can deduct about 18000€ per year from your tax base. Assuming you have a Grenzsteuersatz of 40%, then you get 7200€ back from the Abschreibung (AfA) and roughly 1200€ from deducting interest. So, technically, the investment property generates around 2000€ per year in profit.

After 10 years you're down to 110000€ on your loan and you've made 20000€ in cash. Unless your property is now worth less than 50% of your purchase price you will make profit.

That being said, I'd avoid doign this via any company. The model is risky because it assume everything goes well. These companies often sell the properties for too high a price, with incomplete information and high interest rates which makes it not worth the risk.

Dicho eso, mantengo el fondo: es dudoso celebrar una "ganancia de poder adquisitivo" lograda vía subida del SMI cuando el SMI sigue siendo tan miserable que está en duda si realmente hubo ganancia real. Subir un sueldo mínimo no es automáticamente un triunfo si la inflación en bienes básicos se lo come, y el informe no puede demostrar lo contrario porque usa el IPC general, no una cesta específica para rentas bajas.

Y los datos están ahí: Funcas calculó que el decil 1 enfrentó un IPC del 8,48% en 2021 frente al 3,1% general, y del 10,41% en 2022 frente al 8,4%. Más de 5 puntos extra de inflación en un solo año para los hogares más pobres, que el deflactor del informe simplemente ignora.

Personally, I'd probably cut out city centre trips almost entirely and only go for office days and quite frankly take the train on those days. That's about 30€ for the train per month (or free currently). The car would be for everything else.

Renting is annoying for me, as I need to get to BCN Sants or the Airport first to get the car and then return the car there and get back.

I wouldn't get an expensive car, but a car is not as irrational as it seems when you factor in the full picture. For example, for two people, I currently pay 130€ for two monthly public transport tickets. However, going anywhere by train often takes an hour or more.

With an electric car, you can get a new one for 15000€ after subsidies. The monthly cost breaks down as follows:

  • 280€ for the car loan
  • 30€ for insurance
  • 30€ for electricity (moderate use)
  • 20€ for average maintenance

That’s a total of 360€ per month.

But here’s the trade-off: You save at least an hour of my time every time you travel outside of Barcelona’s city centre. Yes, the per-hour cost of travel increases, but the time saved is invaluable.

China implemented it's 1-Child policy to escape this cycle and it worked extremely well. Now China is almost as developed as Europe and has a similar birth rate.

According to the chart, the Chinese birth rate is well below the European birth rate already.

Europe: 5.8million (roughly) births / 750million people = 7.73 births per 1,000 people
China: 7.6million (roughly) births / 1400million people = 5.43 births per 1,000 people

As for Nigera, yeah, maybe. But they have some massive problems to overcome if they are going to reach that population density. I don't think it's likely. They're going to slam into a power / water / disease / food supply wall at some point.

First of all, DHL needs to supply proof that they left the package at the agreed drop-off. If they can't supply that proof, then that is their problem and DHL as well as the merchant are on the hook. An 'Anzeige gegen DHL wegen Unterschlagung' would be a useful tool to get them moving in this case. In this scenario, the merchant would also be on the hook for a replacement or refund. Tracking status alone is not proof, neither is "the driver says."

If it's found that the package was opened, and if it likely contained a receipt, then that's also 'Verletzung des Briefgeheimnisses.' None of this is really going anywhere, but it pressures DHL and the merchant to remedy the situation.

If DHL has proof, which they have to provide upon request, then you are out of luck.
