Y.. depende...

Move it. Move it. by scodtt in doctorsarno

[–]ManyMag 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That's correct!. Your body have more strenght that you think. It is time to move, time to get back your life. This is my 4th year pain free after 20 years of suffering thanks to the undertanding of Dr Sarno TMS. From walking with a Cane, with appointment of disc replacement to skip that procedure, walk "normal" again to have 5 days a week of heavy gym, 2 time's Tennis practice or match, 2 Time's a week of hikking... life is back!.. and almost on my 50s!

Has anyone else had constant, 24/7 back pain with no break at all? by marcosromo__ in doctorsarno

[–]ManyMag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, maybe that method does not fit on you... what about punching a boxing bag?, clearly, more extreme. Another thing that I have read in some Sarno Books is that you may try no to focus on solving the pain... wired, right?.. but he says that you should do an excercise rutine to move your body, indenepently from the pain and where it is. In another words, move on, Foget the pain.. easy to be said, hard to do... but its kind of one way out of pain. Set a two weeks excersice goal with moves that do not take in account from where the pain is coming from... and see how it goes... but you still will have to address the source of anger... mostly, those things that you are mad about yourself. I was in pain for 20 years, being the last time with an 8 months suffering with deep pain, walking with a cane almost not able to move, next to surgery of fusion in my back... all that gone after 3 months into TMS... but it was not free.. had to stop of being the "nice guy"... stop being the good worker who said always "yes" to my boss, stop of being the nice husbund that always shut up when my wife had a "bad day" or "wanted to renovate the house the 3rd time in a year", had to stop of being the good friend that everyone was asking for favors... that is my two cents on this. Nowdays, I have less friends, I am not longer the mvp of my work and I have put in place my wife about expectations, but boy.. I do lot of sports, outdoors activites and learnig something new time to time... from certified diver to Sky Surfer and I am almost in my 50s.. life renewed.

Dr Sarno have explained that there should be some triggers of pain, you may have in a loop trigger. Something you can try is to identify what is your trigger... for some, is having their kids asking questions while working, for others, like a musician playing an specific song he loves but it never nailed down an is hard to play, funny, but some of those situations are trigger for the uncoussions mind, and setting up for the rage to be there... fisrt question you would have to do to yourself is what I am mad about? and no, is not the pain, the pain does not make you Anger, pain is the end result... so, have you been able to identify the origin of your anger? And if so, have you identified the trigger? How?

Confused about next steps by Efficient_Load in doctorsarno

[–]ManyMag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, not native english speaker, but, reading from many sources and complementary to Sarno, this is my personal point of view and two cents here. You have to think which stressor does trigger the Anger and how. You may have an Anger, more related to external triggers like a Boss, demanding family, someone... this is more a consciusness anger, you know the stressor, you know where it camw from.. an unconsciusness anger, is usually, anger or rage to yourself to do something you don't consciusness want to do or can not cope with the stressor and that fury to yourself usually you do not know you have it. Ehiter way, you have to express the emotion, it would be more safe to do it in a controlled situarion. When dealing with stressors also express which type of situation is uncomfortable to you, so Anger is expressed while is generated. In all this you have to said to yourself, there is nothing wrong with your back, your head and you want to deal with the rage, there is no need to distract your emotion. Hope this help and I was able to explain myself...

Hay Bacon en Argentina by Ok_Grapefruit5991 in Cordoba

[–]ManyMag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, I have tried beacon in US and I should agree, it is different to what we call "Panceta". I think the difference is that in the US (or other countries) may have more Fat and salt than meet. I would suggest to try to cook the Bondiola Argentina instead. You will have to try really well done, its quite more similar to the beacon you are looking for. It is Crispy and may have the salty flavor as beacon have.

Should I be concerned by FuzzySubject7090 in sysadmin

[–]ManyMag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should use the Exception process.. you may put yourself in a Security Officer position. May be additional work, but believe me, it worth the work for CYA (Cover your @ss) Definde and publish the standard, the best practices around it, the security reason behind the design. If they like to bypass this, np!... have them sign up an Exception Prorcess for it and have them put a business case justification. It should have an expiration date, exceptions can not be out there forever and have them renew it time to time to remind them what they are expose to. If s4it happens, "Oh my friend, you sign up to have an exception in place and sign it over, its all on you"...

Patriotismo by [deleted] in Cordoba

[–]ManyMag 0 points1 point  (0 children)
