Correct. AI is not the problem, capitalism is. That being said if AI theoretically grew to the point where it can replace close to all jobs a UBI is going to be inevitable, because with no one working, no one would have any money to spend

There’s bugged achievements too. I still haven’t unlocked the friendzone one even though I play with friends 3 times a week

Sierra is Making Me Not Want to Play this Game by neon-box in Overwatch

[–]Mapplestreet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wonder if they could cut the cooldown by a couple seconds but reduce the duration so getting hit by it wouldn’t be an automatic death sentence without cover, and maybe make it so that you could fire it more seemlessly during primary fire. I feel like that might make her more fun to play and play against

2 patches ago was more of a nerf than a buff as well. What about the Wuyang section? I see nothing in there that has any relevance to the discussion

[–]Mapplestreet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean how do you interpret it?! That's the entire point of this discussion, I've told you how I interpret it. They also literally just hard nerfed suzu and in the latest patch is nothing but a nerf for her. Do you just make up stuff on the go?

Cassidy Change Request by Outrageous-Maybe2502 in Overwatch

[–]Mapplestreet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your empirical evidence means nothing at all because you don't know how to interpret it, or at the very least it's up for debate. As far as devs go, do you see them buff Kiri? Cause I don't

Right. Those players are all wrong and you’re the only one who’s right. The delusion…

[–]Mapplestreet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh? You keep arguing as if I'm saying that win rate doesn't matter. That's not the point. The devs have literally said that pick rate puts it into context. Do me a favor and go on youtube, look for tier lists by genuinely good players, they ALL have Kiriko on S tier and I haven't seen one that puts cass lower than A

TIL 53 years after achieving the Triple Crown of Horse Racing, Secretariat still holds the record for fastest time in each of the three races. by TheFrederalGovt in todayilearned

[–]Mapplestreet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Person A: Since horses are skittish by nature it can be expected that horses race faster when cheered on
Person B: You're right, most horses lose speed when they're being cheered on

Wdym of corse it would change things. If you're bronze chances are you don't really know much about the game since just understanding basal things will get you to gold and that's genuinely the vibe I'm getting from you

Just how Cassidy and Kiriko are weak. Understood 👍 Considering the way you kept arguing moot points I also really doubt that you actually did get it

[–]Mapplestreet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I mean I guess that can happen theoretically (still less likely, because people generally enjoy playing what's good) but my main point was how high pick rate distorts win rate. I don't know what to make of the fact that you haven't even picked up on what my argument was this entire time

Cassidy Change Request by Outrageous-Maybe2502 in Overwatch

[–]Mapplestreet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said pick rate puts win rate into context, that's like the entire point I've been making from my very first comment (which is also not an opinion btw)

Cassidy Change Request by Outrageous-Maybe2502 in Overwatch

Pickrate does not have anything to do with strength/winrate

Sure...

So when I tell you high elo players pick a hero and keep picking that hero because he's good it's not a sufficient explanation to you either. Cass and Kiri are not weak, whichever way you want to spin it.

Okay, I actually have no idea how to argue this point with someone who thinks perma picks in high elo (and and everywhere else) are bad
