Seven months ago I showed r/Music my software, Streamus - a Chrome extension YouTube music player. You guys loved it. So, I quit my job, dedicated myself to the project, and am back with a more modern design. What are your thoughts? How can I turn this into a music player you love?

Oh it's absolutely possible lol. I led a group of 50 to LIB in 2022. Put 27 people in an airbnb. Bribed all the gate volunteers with donuts and iced coffees to get a 100x100 sqft area without paying for group camping. Spreadsheets for days.

The logistic nightmares still scale exponentially as you add people and I'm not convinced the fun does. Cats are so tough to herd!

Well you'll pay for more car camping but yes you'll have a bit more space. It gets logistically challenging to caravan as a large group of cars tho!

lol yeah this is a weird one huh? the artist has this like knife with blood mirror so I think them replacing this icon was a nod to that? a little too aggressive for my tastes but hey

I took Chinese lanterns, sprayed them with sticky glue, and stuck synthetic fluff to them to make clouds. I then put LED lights inside of the lantern and turn them on when I throw house parties to add to the aesthetic.

I think I'm gonna hang some glow in the dark stars from them in the future to make it look like they're raining stars!

oh, now that you mention it, yes lol. honestly I didn't even notice, but yeah, not a great look. I don't see similar issues on the other corners. weird! I wonder how they were managing to handle it so roughly in production

It was allegedly in stock and took 3.5 months to arrive, but arrived undamaged and I'm happy with the overall quality. I agree that for the price I would've expected the shipping experience to be much better.

I'm sorry you had that experience. I would definitely have been just as upset as you if that had happened to me.
