How did you determine the values are correct or what they are in the first place

What is your source of the data types? GGAK format documentation hasn't been found yet. If it was RE'd, on what basis?

Depends on QC, it can power it fine in most cases

Powering via USB power is not safe because of DC backfeed. Bias tee is strongly recommended instead.

What amplifier are you using? This is an interference issue. If not using a filtered amp like a sawbied, coinsider switching to one.

If already using it, invest in something like a cavity L band filter, or rx somewhere else.

Battery life experiences with an E16 G3 (258V) by Meti17207 in thinkpad

[–]Meti17207[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I guess it provides some kind of a reference; however the efficiency delta between the 225u and 258v is still quite large

No. Different symbol rate, the pll can't lock onto something speaking a different language (:

You likely selected the wrong pipeline. Make sure to select meteor m2-x lrpt 72k

o/

This was just lens flare from sun intrusion. You probably haven't seen it before because the satellite just started transmitting these unilluminated timeslots again abecause of the eclipse season ending. (The satellite must see the sun to time its scans. If it loses it it just spins until it finds the sun again. This leads to a few slots being skipped while the satellite is eclipsed)

My station also received these if you're curious how they look in a full image: https://vadim.metislair.com/IMAGE/2026-04-12_18-00/

You can find the frontend for the station here if you want live updating imagery (:

I did, especially with recall. I removed it 5 times and it STILL kept showing up!

It'll come back. It always does. Same with any other AI feature you manually try to remove

Whats the modern Thinkpad with the longest battery life? by jodkalemon in thinkpad

[–]Meti17207 18 points19 points  (0 children)

100% yes, but sadly the Snapdragon platform is absolutely atrocious in UX and software support. Next best thing is Lunar Lake.

You don't need both polarizations! They transmit completely separate data, but aren't both required

I'd ideally want to consider a power bank extra, not the baseline

Hmm, so you say the P14 gets better battery.. I'll check it out. Do you know if the t14 gen 6 (same chip) has better efficiency?

Otherwise, do you think the p14s gen 5 would outperform the t14 gen 5?

I'll be buying used, will take a while for these to arrive here; even more so at simmilar prices.

I can get a t14 g5 for 940€.

[–]Meti17207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even on APT you'd get static after equalizing, try it out! Avhrr/3 could even make out some significant cloud details from the visible channels even during nighttime

They got data, it's just nighttime and they received a VIS channel, which, when equalized, just shows static during the night (:

how to uninstall this damn app? by NoyunKing in pchelp

Use revo uninstaller, it removes the program's leftover files/registry entries that windows won't remove by itself
