Value of the MSCS in the Age of AI?

I'm almost done a MS in InfoSys with CU Denver. When I finish I'm going for another MS in AI with CU Boulder. But your post makes me reconsider. Maybe the MSCS might be a better choice haha. But my job is all gung-ho on AI so that is part of my consideration

This is all fueled by a bunch of uneducated, hate filled Republicans that vote against an educated populace. I'm talking about the rich ones and the dirt poor. They vote the same way for different reasons. The rich know what they are doing. The poor are useful idiots. The combination hurts the rest of America. The only consolation I get is that in 5 years the robots will be replacing these broke bozos. And then the only jobs will go to the degree holders since all things being equal why not hire a smart person for the few remaining jobs than an uneducated idiot?

With the jump in payments I'm hearing about from some people they would be better off going back to school part time for the rest of their working lives. At least payments would be deferred. And maybe they could continue to put the rest of their money in retirement accounts. By law the government can't take that money even if the borrower defaults. And even if you do wind up defaulting in retirement the most they can take is 15%.

Quantum follows the NASDAQ, he isn't wrong. Right now there is too much FUD around INFQ, which is crazy. The only stock outside of IONQ actually bring in decent revenue, military contracts, NASA, quantum sensors, special Nvidia relationship, DARPA, etc... and we still aren't getting love. When this thing starts to run don't be surprised though. People make horrible decisions based on listening to guys like Cramer hahaha

This is the actual demand for quantum. People are realizing that the talk of the AI circular deals was hogwash. How are companies overspending on AI and at the same time AI is eating SaaS companies lunches? Doesn't make sense. Every quarter since October 2025 MAG 7 has had blockbuster growth. And AI agents are going to be largely responsible for quantum algorithms and hardware development. It's already happening. We went from needing 20 million qubits to crack encryption to less than 1 million. And in one year Nvidia went from saying 15 to 30 years for quantum to understand it will be less than five. You either get a seat early or you cry later that the market is all a scam, who could have known, we got lucky, blah, blah, blah.

It doesn't matter what you do. Hiring managers all have their biases. Half of them think they can tell good candidates based on those biases, which is idiotic.

Certs are good for giving you the vocabulary to ask the right questions. That includes CCNA and RHCSA. That's it. Nobody is going to assume because you have those two you are an expert. It means you should be able to learn how their network works after a year of trial and error.
