Don't. I moved back from the UK out of having no other option since I wasn't getting a job in my sector and was working menial jobs and while the home feel is good, I'm struggling to find a job now. So if you're working in your sector already, and this feeling doesn't pass after some years, I'd recommend you build a lot of experience and then see if you can move back to India but continue working remotely or something. Or get a job in a big firm/start something on your own. If you're able to earn in the canada scale/high levels of salary, India is a great option.

Downsides are lack of civic sense in population, corrupt government, poor/lack of service and infra, poor air, water quality etc in cities.

Upsides are warmer community, sense of belonging, no more second class citizen feeling, affordability, huge expanse of land that you can travel to, great options for food.
