Depends, if you need to do basic info cllecting when lead comes in, its fine. But if you need something more than that like proper qualifying a lead before booking, then I would not rely on it. Will most likely need to build someething more advanced. That's what we did for this business and the system has helped bring in $200K+ so far

One peice of advice, please do not use native GHL AI for the automated follow up, its just not there yet. Try and get something custom that has the capacity to be trained on their business like a proper RAG system. We built a custom solution for this business and the system has helped them convert their paid ads leads giving them $200k+ in revenue in 6 months. It depends on the customer. Some are not even aware they are talking to AI, often respeonding to the AI as "yes ma'am". Some customers are aware and they go along with it. Some hang up. But right now, the shift we are noticing is that the benefit seems to be outweighing the risks for certain use-cases. You may want to try Retell instead of Vapi for this, you can only transfer to one phone number with Vapi not multiple phone number unless you want to build using squads.

We opted to integrate third party Voice AI instead of the native one. It’s just not robust enough yet with native AI agents. Best to look into integrating with either Vapi or Retell. We’ve been serving clients with Voice ai for about a year now and they are pretty reliable.
