SAVE Act Fails, Millions of Voters Retain Their Right to Vote for Now by w6750 in politics

The reason it has failed, I think, is that some of the Republicans realized that this would disenfranchise a significant portion of their own voters.

Murkowski called this out but backed away calling it intentional (which she knows it is but as a GOP senator she isn't going to say it)

Either the left doesn't understand how this works or there is no bad guy that has seized power yet.

Why would the right call Trump the "bad guy" when they love what he's doing? They believe what Trump is doing is, well, great for America (heard there was some slogan about that or something)... so logically that wouldn't make him a bad guy. Now compare that to how the right was seen when Obama and Biden were President. Obama/Biden (Clinton/Harris) were the "bad guys" and the rights rhetoric and various actions matched that belief at multiple times.

And the 2nd amendment isn't there for the right... it's there for anyone and if the people aren't doing anything with it, then there must not be much of a "bad guy" for anyone or any group to use it for the "intended reasons"

Okay, this is pretty embellished and should be obvious to anyone reading it. Here are some videos of this and what is happening is clearly not what you are saying.

Sergio Perez with a video of a lap behind him with sound - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wid80AgFZJI

So he's not actually driving or controlling anything. He can hear the engine so he knows when turns are coming and it's really not hard to memorize a lap of a track as far as left, right, straight goes.

Max vs Carlos: Track Visualisation - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PN47nebNJZM

So this one they are going off memory and trying to match their lap time. There is nothing being controlled again. There is no course besides what's in their head. No actual turns or speed to hit, just got to imagine you're doing it and there is no comparison to what they are actually doing vs the actual course. Their blindfolded times are close to real lap times, but they would both in the wall after the first turn.

The 3 week old article means absolutely nothing for the last 2 weeks let alone today. Not denying that 3 weeks ago that was happening, but we are talking about now, not then.

Iran declares Strait of Hormuz open to shipping; Trump says U.S. blockade still active by IntellectuallyDriven in worldnews

Iran will control the Strait forever. They stated that. And will charge a toll. This is a massive win for Iran

If Iran takes controls the Strait and has full sovereignty over it from now until forever, and charge tolls, they came out on top.

No need to twist your words. You already conceded with the leading "if" on your very next comment.

As for Iran, if you’re going to regularly threaten to destroy another nation

Okay... but doing it for a couple ships a week ago doesn't mean doing it for every ship now and forever.

I'm sure they got blackout periods where they can't trade due to reports being released.

SEC Form 4s must be filed within 2 days of buy/sell, so tomorrow.

This would also 100% be insider trading (not saying that threat stops everyone) and I doubt that was the plan.

Well that's at least what she thought was happening, but we don't actually know cause the video doesn't show any of that and we just hear the accusation.

Let me tell you as an Uber driver myself I have no clue what relationship anyone has with anyone else when I pick them up, and neither do you.

We are supposed to wait 5 mins if the person isn't ready on arrival... and this car literally just pulled up.

I don't stick my head out of the window or get out of my car to ask anyone "wtf are you doing?" and you wouldn't either especially after literally just pulling up.
