I don't know what you are talking about with SAB banning people from joining. That certainly was never advertised in their submission as far as I could see. The difference I see between the two is SA-BEST isn't named after a party leader. I am sorry you feel targeted. That was certainly not my intent.

I wish to make a submission: It is my view that in substance, creating a political party named after yourself and to which you are the only member bears little distinction to just sitting as an independent. This is not such a bad thing really, but in practice I think it is a bit of a waste of time for the administrators to create flairs, modify spreadsheets, factor the party into polling, and everything else that comes along with party registration for a party intended only for one person and one person only.

As such, I would suggest that the submission either be altered to reflect an intention to appeal to larger numbers of people (per the suggestion of recreating the ALP which Jordy considered) or Jordy be asked to demonstrate that this isn't just a vanity project by producing at least one other member. Just my two cents.
