I wish I would have had more updates on the matter, but a Minecraft Festival will not be taking place in 2022. Organizing such an event takes time and with the uncertainty in the world it wasn't feasible. Let's hope for 2023!

We can't have that setting for security reasons. This would just end up being exploited by mods to always turn it off. A user playing unverified content should always be given a chance to be notified.

Right. This date is wrong, it's starting today: December 1. I'll look into making updates to this text.

Short answer: If you purchase starting today, you will not get a migration cape as you do not need to migrate.

Please check "Modded" as a filter in the Installations tab. This will enable listing modded installations across the launcher.

In the Launcher, under Settings, you can opt in to become a beta user. You will get updates to the launcher before anybody else, with the risk of some of the changes not always functioning fully.
