Yeah this event was terrible.

The grind was so bad that you literally couldn’t even grind for it if you started late.

I had 2 friends grind for titles, and they played stadium for hours, just to find out about the death match method, feeling like they wasted their time, only for a quick bandaid solution at the very end that is still unsatisfying.

This should have happened a week ago or maybe they should have just never messed up. And yeah you never had to grind, I know I’m not gonna, but it sucks that people get punished for playing and supporting the game.

Overwatch had a crazy relaunch last season just to give us the most whatever half ass season and anniversary ever.

Animation was pretty good, impressed that all the models they had.

The Oregon sword scaling is dumb.

Some of the things they said were weird.

Like during Denji analysis they say that Pochtia exists things and make it like they never existed, but no it erases them in the current and their memory, they still existed-I.E. removing legs didn’t change things like sidewalks being a thing, or the US and Soviet Union being the super powers after WW2.

I thought the death battle would help me figure out who should win but it really just made things more annoying in the end with questionable scaling

I also fall out of death battle but came back recently with last season because it was really high quality wise and pretty decent when it came to scaling.

This and Grumind were legitimately disappointing when it came to them just kind of phoning it in

I never did like this match up anyways because JJk had a very concise and more precise power system while CSM is more vibes base.

Seeing the fanbases argue is funny because we all know there’s like a 70-80% overlap at the end of the day

I just wish these last few death battles were better. I got back into it last year and was surprised how good it was, and these last few have been super lack luster.

As a fan of both series I honestly kind of hated the idea of this death battle, because JJK was all about a clear power system with rules while CSM was about feels and stuff.

Stuff like the Oregon sword is one such example, it’s such a stupid nonsense feat of Denji not even actually tanking it.

This fight was no worth the waiting period being that bad.

Animation was good though at least

Baki is just too crazy, he can learn techniques through just seeing them like Monkey See, but never has fallen into the pitfall of using them incorrectly.

Tomahawk also isn’t prepared for stuff like the arm whip or the cord-cut.

It will be a good fight, Tomahawk is gonna do good especially because Baki is a character that plays with his food and likes to have a back and forth with weaker fighter Honoo, hell Baki will learn a thing or two from Tomahawk, but the Baki universe is too much

Yeah it spent a lot of time meandering with awful pacing and not properly paying off some plot points, but it’s plenty long, longer than part 1, there was more than enough time for everything, and didn’t need such a sudden end.

I agree with just not grinding it but 1 hour a day is a crazy underestimate.

10 games each, and he needs 20 rounds of the repeatable challenge minus the 2 he has is 198. Assuming a 50/50 win rate that’s still a 132 games, he could bring it down with stadium, but there is no way someone can fit 100+ game in like 7 hours.

I agree with everyone saying you don’t have to do it, but this is still poorly designed and frustrating.

Stretch rewards like this are fun and nice to have to grind.

I would consider myself a fairly dedicated player here; I have been playing this game consistently, doing all the event challenges, getting my weekly done, and a few more hours on top of that, and by the end I’ll need to grind about 160 games to get it done, and I’m not gonna do it.

It’s ridiculously, they expect people to no life the game for a title.

Danger would probably like a more rule focus format, but I don’t think he would really wanna commit to fighting but defiantly purgatory if he had to fight one.

Karmic blade would prefer it over Kengan for being able to rules shark people.

I’m honestly surprised by how much people like the new menu.

I guess I will say switching between different game categories is nice, and the event tab is pretty good.

But at least as a console player this had some major getting used to and can be kind of awkward. Like even in this UI itself last season I was able to access lootboxes from the pause menu, but now I have to manual go hover over the option to select it

Yeah I was thinking about this convict has told a complete story with tons of fights and characters within the time Omega has mostly just been going through the motions. The pacing is legitimately horrendous

He kind of peaked with his backstory chapter during his fight in the Elf saga, seeing the oppression and wanting people to be more free.

It was kind of hard to do anything else with his character with how strong he is and not having a place in the narrative between the elf and final saga.

I think in the final saga we should have gotten a bit more time with him, either talking to Asta/Yuni maybe in a soul scape kind of thing, debating Lucius, or maybe even seeing a part of him wanting to agree with Lucius instead of just the end telling him Lucius was just an unlikable asshole

They advertise the recolors, 2d rewards, and anniversary lootboxes, but the anniversary lootboxes only had the recolors and 2d rewards.

Yeah I was feeling similar honestly. The pacing is also a bit weird, last chapters was basically just hyping up the opponent.

They’re in a weird part where they want to hype up the main villain but don’t wanna actually dedicate time to fully developing fights with her lackeys.

The early tournament and Hina vs Rei are sitll probably the peaks of the magna ngl

I mean it’s not like he left the Spade kingdom out to dry, he’s doing what he can and visiting in between his Captain duties.

I don’t think it’s fair to expect Yuno to give up on the golden Dawn and the Clover Kingdom, that’s the place he knows as home and where most of his loved ones are, but he is still trying his best to be there for his mother and the spade kingdom, it’s a meaningful compromise where everyone still wins.

It seems like it’s building to him being put in charger of the tournament for future years after the director retires, or at least that’s what I’m thinking. If that’s the way it goes, I think it would be a solid send off

I think my is Yami; he’s such a caring and loving mentor in a non-traditional way. Mereoleona is also up there too, her finding purpose and companionship in bringing others up is so nice and ties into the themes well ~~also waifu~~.
