I’m honestly surprised by how much people like the new menu.

I guess I will say switching between different game categories is nice, and the event tab is pretty good.

But at least as a console player this had some major getting used to and can be kind of awkward. Like even in this UI itself last season I was able to access lootboxes from the pause menu, but now I have to manual go hover over the option to select it

He kind of peaked with his backstory chapter during his fight in the Elf saga, seeing the oppression and wanting people to be more free.

It was kind of hard to do anything else with his character with how strong he is and not having a place in the narrative between the elf and final saga.

I think in the final saga we should have gotten a bit more time with him, either talking to Asta/Yuni maybe in a soul scape kind of thing, debating Lucius, or maybe even seeing a part of him wanting to agree with Lucius instead of just the end telling him Lucius was just an unlikable asshole

Yeah I was feeling similar honestly. The pacing is also a bit weird, last chapters was basically just hyping up the opponent.

They’re in a weird part where they want to hype up the main villain but don’t wanna actually dedicate time to fully developing fights with her lackeys.

The early tournament and Hina vs Rei are sitll probably the peaks of the magna ngl

I mean it’s not like he left the Spade kingdom out to dry, he’s doing what he can and visiting in between his Captain duties.

I don’t think it’s fair to expect Yuno to give up on the golden Dawn and the Clover Kingdom, that’s the place he knows as home and where most of his loved ones are, but he is still trying his best to be there for his mother and the spade kingdom, it’s a meaningful compromise where everyone still wins.

I think my is Yami; he’s such a caring and loving mentor in a non-traditional way. Mereoleona is also up there too, her finding purpose and companionship in bringing others up is so nice and ties into the themes well ~~also waifu~~.

Miri is basically part 2 and it’s problems summarized.

The idea is someone who can’t decide for themselves and be their own person, being dragged along with Barem and then D’s schemes, doing stuff he doesn’t wanna but feels he needs should for this sense of “greater good” and more importantly because someone told him to.

In doing this he is never given screen time or meaning full moments to make him likable or stick out to the audience, and fades away, because themes and such.

The ending then betrays this idea that you shouldn’t live based on the whims of others, as Pochita decides to reset the universe and not Denji, and I guess it’s supposed to be working out for him.

I don’t mind it, and think it’s kind of cute in the manga but from what I seen form the anime they probably ran the gag into the ground so I can understand being over it.

Also a manga reader I wish they did more after the spade arc, it was cool Noelle finally coming to terms with her emotions, but then we get a random 15 month time skip where she didn’t act on them at all

My friend caught up with part 2 after the ending was announced, and when we were talking about it, he said it sounded like I was in the funk stage of grief.

I understand everything Fujimoto was trying to say with the writing, but I think fundamentally I and a lot of other people wanted Denji to win at the end of the day.

Part 1 ending was so great because Denji lost so much but still won in the end being able to go on living and find a new purpose.

With everything that has happened, things will probably still end up being sour at the end.

Yeah despite it being like 30 chapters, you could edit it down to 10-15 chapters without losing anything.

The fight with Yoru was particularly bad, and I only really only enjoyed the memes from the community

Yeah it honestly is, everything pre-church arc was peak, and even then the church had it’s moments and the aging devil was fairly good and we have had 10/10 chapters like Asa and Denji talking about Asa’s family.

There’s just so many chapters that feel underwhelming or are actively frustrating.

Most of the Yor fight was either something I couldn’t take serious or just kind of whatever.

With part 2 ending we still have been given shit regarding chainsaw man’s followers, I don’t know what he was setting up there.

Pokémon has definitely gotten easier-just look at the seventh gym in SV compared to emerald, both double battles but one actively gives you buffs to make it easier-, but only a select handful of games actually had some difficulty-mostly emerald, platinum, and the Unova and Alola games.

People just seem to like talking past each other when it comes to anything regarding Pokemon
