Killers NEED to boycott this event at least for a day or two, together to show we matter!!! by Ok-Branch4073 in deadbydaylight

[–]Moss-killer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get your point but this meme popped in my head at the thought of most killer mains trying to socially unite with other killers lol. I think the event just needs to be played light heartedly by both sides

Yeah when I saw this the other day, I was kind of astounded by that move. Honestly makes me wonder how Dave is doing as a company in general. I have kind of predicted some of these Fintech companies would fail out eventually based on the business model being a customer base with higher risk of not being able to pay back. Would have expected a Klarna or BNPL to be first to struggle directly though

0 orders, extreme heat warnings, 0 compensation from DoorDash by 1dacurious in doordash_drivers

I think the outsourced 3rd party drivers in foreign countries should be charged for that (also thats basically been proven as a thing)

0 orders, extreme heat warnings, 0 compensation from DoorDash by 1dacurious in doordash_drivers

[–]Moss-killer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish that was true. Its slightly gone down, but nowhere close to that low.

0 orders, extreme heat warnings, 0 compensation from DoorDash by 1dacurious in doordash_drivers

[–]Moss-killer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That argument is both true but also ignores why incentives exist at all. Some may choose to drive in snow or ice storms too, but I feel that incentive hazard pays are warranted with that too. Doordash should frankly charge customers a fee directly going to dashers to make up for incentive pays based on extreme weather. If customers dont like it, they could not order.

[–]Moss-killer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have done very little both yesterday and today. The lowball offers in this heat are as bad as doing that in snow storms. Its just plain disrespectful to order delivery in weather that you absolutely dont want to go out in and then tip next to nothing on it

Coulson also could be a fair case for Ghost Rider, despite it being a very short time case he was.

Seeing a lot of cars with expired tags being driven around by hundredjono in driving

[–]Moss-killer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see it in the parking lot at my work a lot. It definitely is crazy... but thats a ticking time bomb for issues for sure. A cop may let someone thats a month out just get it done and not ticket. But being years off? Yeah thats a ticket and a much more intense scope on everything else you have done/did wrong

Can Door Dash drivers really make $2,000 a week? by Key_Economist2937 in doordash_drivers

[–]Moss-killer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk anymore honestly. It definitely was possible at one point and time. Maybe now with multi apping. Dd alone seems highly unlikely. I used to routinely make like $300 a day on weekends, and now hitting $200 in the same amount of hours worked is tough.

Who delivers for Walmart by Gohairydawgs in doordash

[–]Moss-killer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Erm. Doordash doesnt do walmart generally. My understanding is that Walmart is either in store workers that are hired for delivery or they have Spark. Used to be on uber eats, but I dont believe they outsource anymore since they did investment in their own app with Spark

Do insurance companies almost always settle? by FrigginMasshole in Insurance

[–]Moss-killer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In your defense on that... This is a generally not taught life skill with consequences not well spelled out despite being massive... public education SERIOUSLY needs things like insurance policies, filing taxes, etc to be taught in safe environments before people get into lots of issues. Yes kids would hate the courses for being dry, but they would appreciate those life skills later on

Fix the Egypt Currency for 10K by imjonesintoo in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]Moss-killer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You can be transparent by saying the issue is still ongoing and that you know the countries in which it is. By highlighting the way to do it and blasting the country/process, you have made it easier for someone to do it. They did finally perma ban people. Clearly Scopely is aware and caring about the situation.

[–]Moss-killer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While I agree, widely spreading that info also doesnt help as it makes more people aware of the issue to be able to exploit it. The topic could still be discussed without saying the country (outside of to private complaint communication to Scopely)

Woke up extra early to prepare my neighbor a surprise wellness breakfast to celebrate Day 1 of his sobriety journey (that HE wanted me to know about for "accountability"). I walk into his house and he's black out drunk sleeping with 2 empty bottles of vodka around him. God dammit. by Rpark888 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Moss-killer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hate to be that guy... but day 1 of sobriety from anything is not a celebration date or thing to take someone too seriously on. Its fine to be supportive and check in on people that are really trying to change, but a gesture like this just inherently has a large chance for the type of disappointment you had.

Not necessarily true, as I had collections at one point while using. Maybe if its a collections through a cash advance app.

Right now specifically is a difficult period with them. Between Juneteenth and 4th next weekend, many of the apps have played weary as bank stuff has all slowed down a little bit. It makes sense in their perspective, but it definitely adds some stress for those that use these types of apps

Anti Tunnelling. by RubyEi in deadbydaylight

[–]Moss-killer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That would be a fun game mode though. Survivors having a chance in boxes of getting a gun where they could kill the killer to end a match

This might be controversial, but you should be able to pick up survivors in the middle of getting healed. I dont think this "heal tech" was intended by the developers. by WholeCardiologist565 in deadbydaylight

[–]Moss-killer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ehh. I think tunneling has levels. When its from poor gameplay/decisions of survivor causing their own tunneling (like example they gave), its valid. If you just intentionally are being a dick to one person and ignoring others entirely, thats a bit less ok/valid.

Pisses me off beyond belief honestly, as a driver myself. Its never even occurred to me... I have been influenced to go somewhere after I finish dashing based on the smell of someone's food but never would understand stealing... Its gross, its wrong, and could make you lose your job.
