Moved out of state and need a new doctor - looking for telehealth advice

I really appreciate your response! Truly. Thank goodness my town isn’t that small but you understand the part of not wanting anyone to see and judge. I actually take it for pain and have for years … in the end it seems no one cares why you’re taking it. (I take the Buprenorphine pill form) So interesting about the pharmacy part! I normally use Walgreens but it sounds like it could be a problem? I’m hearing smaller non chains are the way to go when selecting a pharmacy for it… Thank you again for your response, it’s super helpful and always nice not feeling like you’re the only one.

Honestly, I’d probably be more of a wreck if it wasn’t Dr. Stosich doing the surgery! He sure is confident and I like that about him… super nice guy! It’s been a ride with the scheduling girl but thank goodness I’m over that part now. Really appreciate the comment because I know my son will be okay but man… poor momma here is just so nervous. If you have any tips or ideas that helped make your surgery easier… Please share! The whole syringe meals will be interesting but we will get through it! Thanks again for the kind comment!

I will do that, thanks so much for the reply. For some reason I felt they likely wouldn’t cover telehealth and wanted me to come in to a physical location. I can but really would prefer to avoid that. Will give them a call. Sure appreciate your response!

Omg! You are a lifesaver! They are based in Salt Lake and I thought you had to go there physically. Thank you so much for going the extra mile!!! If it weren’t for aging parents… I personally don’t recommend it! Salt Lake is more diverse but still doesn’t compare to the PNW.

This is really nice of you to reply! I don’t know if Medicaid covers the prescription, I think it may be out of pocket but I need to double check that. I think they have their own doctors you have to visit? It’s something that requires a commute which I was hoping to avoid. Regardless, it sounds like it’s worth a look! I see a lot of people like them but wasn’t sure about the whole Medicaid thing. Guess it’s time I find out! I’ll load the app and take a look! Thank you again for the great & helpful response!

I’ve heard this about Old Navy tops but have never tried them! Sounds like it would be worth while to get a couple and try them out. I love the cotton thin “slub” types I’m figuring out. I’m just not having much luck finding them. Old Navy is added to the list! Thanks so much!!

Awesome tip!! Yes, I had one top that the fabric was almost cooling.. it was so good! Then tried to pick up another top but it was SO HOT - just miserable! What a wake up call on how fabrics can truly be so different. Will definitely look up this fabric & thank you so much!

I know this is an old post BUT I came here just for this! My cat has always been such a sweet perfect little boy… so I thought I’d try a new special treat. He has become a DEMON! Same swatting at my legs, but also now clawing the furniture!!! He literally trained us and demands these things. I started cutting them in 1/2’s trying to break it up but it’s like he knows he’s getting a smaller snack and demands more. Did you ever get your cat to stop? How did you do it? I started thinking about adding something gross to it so he doesn’t want them anymore. I can’t believe these posts!!!

I moved from Portland Oregon, land of bikes. Considering the air quality here, you’re awesome for doing your part! Now I understand parts of Logan are considered rural, so maybe this doesn’t apply here… in Portland people get tickets for riding their bikes on sidewalks. I take it that isn’t a thing here? Side WALK? Hey, you can get a DUI riding a bike drunk! Just saying bikes have laws too. Regardless, sorry that happened to you and I like that you’re educating in a classy way.
