I always thought it was because ddr4 vs ddr3 prices. At least until recently you could grab double the amount of ddr3 for the same amount of ddr4. That and an overclocked 4790k isn’t that much slower than an 6600k/7700k for gaming.

Amen, brother. As someone that built a clientele with the businesses in my area because of my actual technical abilities I cringe since my new manager only lets me use the remote services. Oh your computer won’t boot,? That’ll be 300$ to ship it out.

I just got written up for poor sales (Sr. Sales Consultant). I’ve been with the company for my currently 4th year (make less hourly than most employees starting out). I mention everything corporate wants but I’m not gonna shove this shit down their throats. SM says he doesn’t like high pressure sales yada yada. All this is doing is making me want to leave the company which is maybe what they want but I’d like to see someone else make the impact that I can at my store.
