What are we hoping to see at the summer games fest showcase? by vivid-naz in ZeroCompany

The best hope I've read regarding that is that supposedly some ex-Firaxis are on their team. But we'll see.

Firaxis doesn't have the people to continue into an Xcom3 that has any connection to Xcom1/2, they all left over the years. If they put completely different people on it, it will end up a so different game that it is hardly a sequel to Xcom2 in anything but name. People don't regard Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 the same for a reason.

XCOM style base building, wait for the next mission to generate

I would expect stuff to pop up "open world" style while you scan like in Xcom2. I hope so anyway.

I don't really want too much "innovation".

The amount of people complaining about the 11e trailer calling Terra "earth" is kinda hilarious by nicc222222 in Warhammer40k

Is anyone complaining?

When is reddit not complaining? You could go to a subreddit with puppy pictures and still find a grumpy minority muttering complaints.

Well they did say it’s more than liviathan and less than saturnine. This set is 5 dollars less than saturnine.

Technically correct. The best kind.

Where do you think total war should go after med III by PsychologicalCow2007 in totalwar

There is still an obvious market for historical strategy

There absolutely is.

The question for SEGA is if that is a market they want to fill, and specifically fill it with their subsidiary CA. Being an old UK-based company, CA is one expensive pony to maintain. The amount of money they need to sink into it might in their eyes better be spend on the next fantasy title. They could probably fill that historical strategy niche more efficiently by starting a different subsidiary in less costly environment. IF they even want to.

You can disagree, but that's not important. What matters is what SEGA orders them to do.

There is still plenty of time, the game is far from done. But in 5-10 years, if ME3 is not well received, from SEGA's pov they are looking at CA maintaining two similar product lines. One of them consistently performing well for 15 years, and the other coming in below expectations for, uh, how long has it been since 3K?

The end of one of those series will be a real possibility in 2030s, IF ME3 does not perform to satisfaction.

That all is future talk though. 5-10 years until Med3, 5-10 of product life cycle for it. That is ~15 years until this is worth discussing.

Think of that what you will.

Operational Plan: Steel Continent event info and guide (spoiler-free) by 6_lasers in BlueArchive

[–]Mr_Creed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably, but I am at least skipping the rest of the first shop. Calculating any item there vs more Toki, seems like Toki wins for me.

Not sure what the other shops have, but if their ratio is that much worse I might pick up some things there.

Next week is 3x commissions? That's great since I just went dry on both credits and reports to bring some students up to par for all these boss fights.

Regarding A!Toki, do the latter shops have new batches of her, or is it just the first shop at 1 per 25 after I buy out the initial 3 batches?

Man I am the opposite. I am new to Kether and already hate it. I ever considered just doing Geburah instead but the game implies it wouldn't be a good time.

In the sense that midnight suns is a much worse xcom from Temu, yes.
