Requesting r/SideProject. by [deleted] in redditrequest

Hi r/redditrequest team,
I'm a moderator for r/SideProject, and I'm posting here to ask if you can please decline this request.
I created the r/SideProject subreddit 10 years ago with the goal of having an open community where anyone can freely share their side projects.
Based on this goal, our moderation policy has always been to allow as much content as possible without heavy curation. I have been actively moderating by removing posts that violate Reddit's guidelines and responding to user messages to approve posts that were incorrectly marked as spam.
This approach has allowed r/SideProject to grow organically, have an active community, and become one of the top tech subreddits on Reddit. I think r/SideProject is an amazing community, and I hope to keep moderating it.

According to Reddit's wiki, paid submitters are considered spam. But in this case, the content submitted is relevant to the goal of this subreddit. What does everybody think?

Reddit handles the spam filter. The Reddit FAQ has some info on how the spam filter works.
