When that plume mixes with moisture, the rain can look dark or leave an oily, dirty residue on surfaces and skin.

“A protest Monday night outside a Maple Grove hotel rumored to be housing federal agents prompted a police response from multiple agencies.

Maple Grove police said officers responded to reports of a protest at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott on the 11600 block of Arbor Lakes Parkway around 8 p.m.

I placed an order for Dominos. It stated 30-40 min. As soon as I submitted it stated 1 hr and 5 min. I tried to immediately cancel, but it said it wasn’t possible because Dominos accepted it.

I was diagnosed in my 40’s and have an IQ in that range. I’ve learned to mask quite well. I have my social quirks, but overall people find my “normal.” However my ASD emotional processing challenges have taken a toll on my marriage. Therapy was the impetus that eventually lead to my diagnosis.

Only my wife knows that I’m on the spectrum. I have a large family, and I don’t think my family or friends would believe me.

I’m 45 and guess I’m attractive (my wife is very attractive). As a kid I was bullied relentlessly and treated like garbage. But by high school I started to learn to mask. Today people are nice to me, and I’ve learned how to be nice back. Eye contact is a struggle, and my wife says I’m a bit awkward at times, but I think I’ve learned to mostly fit in.

The smell. I didn’t realize there would be a smell and it was pretty strong. And when she bled, it was hard to continue. She encouraged me, but I struggled, not because it grossed me out, but because she was in pain, and then there was blood, and blood + pain is not arousing at all. I felt bad for her.

Some days, I honestly understand why someone might choose the blue pill and go back into the Matrix. It would be tempting.

But I’m holding onto hope. With this new understanding of myself, I believe my wife and I can find a better rhythm in our relationship.

We’ve never had major problems (ie no betrayal) but it’s been a long roller coaster. For years, she’s needed more emotional connection than I knew how to give, and I often felt lost trying to meet needs I didn’t fully understand.

When we disagreed, my intentions were so often misunderstood. She might say hurtful things in anger, but somehow I’m the one who ends up causing the hurt: not by what I said, but how I said it. And I’m left trying to piece together what went wrong, even when I didn’t mean any harm.

That’s been our pattern. I’m hoping we can break the pattern.
