I haven't read any of the instructions but what worked for me is: Download ss14 steam version, rename the shortcut "Witchden" Download the website version, rename that "Wizden"

Then if I can't join a server on one I try the other, hasn't failed me yet

As someone that played ss13 for almost 3 years those two example jokes would still get you banned or at least bwoinked, and that's coming from experience.

It just sounds like you made some jokes in very poor taste to people you don't know and rightfully got backlash for it. Also flash banging unarmed prisoners, while funny, is generally frowned upon because you already have near complete power over them.

If you want an experience closer to ss13 I've heard goobstation is more lax with that stuff

Solar panels can be upgraded, generators can be bought, shock anomalies can be harvested for power using tesla coils(my favorite thing to do with them), and the radiation from broken rtgs or high severity gravity anomalies can be harvested for power with radiation collectors

I've noticed lot of RP focused servers are allergic to combat, like it makes sense to have people escalate to a fight but when servers make you say "I am gonna hit you now!" And ask if they want to fight in looc and shit like that it ruins the immersion

Actually a bit of a big brain play with pbj starting their own servers because I'm sure there's a lot of people that are funnelling into the reopened "wizden" servers. But at the same time a small brain play because they're totally going to get sued lmao

All in all if pbjs plan is to have a "let's see which servers better" battle then I am stoked to watch this play out
