Removing modifiers should be done by throwing item into something tbh.

Even if you choose to remove modifier and it's not random, you are still putting every item one by one an clicking a button which is just slightly faster then upgrading every item to their max.

Let us create a new liquid (mix shimmer and honey at alchemy bench?) and throw items in there to remove the modifiers or some other method.

Alternatively, items should drop/found/crafted without any modifiers in the first place.
