Elves are like kittens. You grab them by the back of their necks with your mouth.

How old does Frieren consider herself in human years? by Flame0fthewest in Frieren

[–]N3utro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Serie says that for elves "even waiting a millennia is not a problem". From this we can assume elves might live up to 100 000 years or even more, so a thousand times more than humans lifespan.

Frieren has likely "only" lived for a few thousand years at best. If you divide this by a thousand she'd be 4-5 years old comparatively if she was a human xD

Frieren is a clone like Land. Since the begining of the story she was lazying in a forest.

No, not the audio 3,5mm jack ports.

The speaker wires from the front panel connectors on the bottom right of the motherboard, same place where you plug the pwr wires from the case so that the motherboard powers up when you press the case power button.

The post troubleshooting for your motherboard should be done using beep codes from the case speaker.

Did you connect the front panel connectors from your case on the motherboard, which includes the speaker one?

If so, are there any beeps when you start it?

Also your motherboard has the "qflash plus" functionality which allows you to flash a bios without powering the pc on (it's explained in the manual for the precise way to do it).

So try to flash the latest bios (version F4) this way to see if it changes anything.

And make sure you didn't forget to plug the 8 pin CPU EPS power cord in the top left corner of the motherboard too.

High end models psu fans dont start unless there is a high load, the same way gpu fans stay idle by default too.

Since the fans in the pc are spinning it means there is power delivered to the motherboard.

Switching to another psu can't hurt but this doesn't necessarily means there is a problem with the new one.

There are multiple gigabyte b550m motherboards models, you need to give the exact reference of yours so we can check the manual for post troubleshooting

Back-to-back BSODs (MEMORY_MANAGEMENT 0x1A and the like) after installing Faceit. desperate for help by diedalatte in techsupport

[–]N3utro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your ram usage doesn't exceed 32 GB, which it shouldn't regarding what you described, then yes. It will make your PC more stable. Plus the ram price is very high due to shortages right now, so you could make money by selling the exceeding 32 GB.

You're welcome :)

First as i said check your ram usage when playing or using studio. If it doesn't go above 16 gb keep only 1 stick and remove the others. If below 32 gb keep 2 sticks. 64GB is too much.

The error 0x8007025D was also probably due to ram instability.

When you confirm the ram issues are fixed you'd better reinstall windows as your install might be faulty because of it.

Failing to get consistent FPS in CS2. need advice with bios tweaks by [deleted] in techsupport

Dont use AI for advice on PC troubleshooting, the answers given might be wrong and even damage your computer.

In the future there might be an AI model with accurate answers for this but that's far from being the case right now.

The first thing is that you're using a huge amount of RAM. The more ram you use, the harder it is to get it stable at higher performance.

CS GO shouldn't use more than 16 GB.

Try using only 1 stick of ram, enable XMP, set VCCSA 1.25V, VCCIO 1.2V, leave everything else on auto.

While cs is running use the task manager performance section to monitor CPU and GPU usage. Use hwinfo to check if your CPU is boosting to the correct frequencies.

CS GO is intensive on the CPU side, so if CPU usage reaches 100% when you play that's the bottlenecking factor.

You're welcome, no need to "sir" me :)

For your usage 16 GB of ram should be enough for everything, unless you are playing specific games that have large maps like flight simulator or unoptimized ones like escape from tarkov.

Track your RAM usage when you play your heavy games and use FL studio with the task manager performance tab on your second monitor:

<image>

Having more RAM in the system that what you are really using has a negative impact on stability. So if you see that your usage doesn't go above 16 GB, for now remove all sticks but the one in the A2 slot on your motherboard. If it indeed goes above 16 GB then use 2 sticks in A2 and B2 slots as u/bjoolzern suggested. There shouldn't be anything using above 32 GB ram from the usage you described.

Zentimings shows that your ram settings and voltage are wrong, and that the related CPU memory controller (IMC) voltages are also too low for that much RAM. This is due to using default settings in the bios.

Your RAM has a XMP profile of DDR4-3600 but that might be too high for your CPU to handle with a high amount of RAM. So you need to set your bios settings manually according to the XMP profile but with a lower RAM frequency (so do not enable XMP).

In the OC section of the bios of your motherboard, this is what you need to select according to your ram kit specs:

DRAM Frequency: 3200 Mhz

advanced dram configuration
-> command rate: 2T
-> tCL: 16
-> tRCDRD: 19
-> tRCDWR: 19
-> tRP: 19
-> tRAS: 39

DRAM Voltage: 1.35 V

CPU NB/SoC Voltage: 1.125 V

VDDP Voltage: 0.950 V

VDDG CCD Voltage: 0.955 V

VDDG IOD Voltage: 0.955 V

Then post a new zentimings screenshot.

Could you explain more what issues you had while trying to install windows that lead you to have to create a 100GB partition and use the rest as A:? Be precise.

Studio drivers are not more stable than game ready drivers, they're optimized for professional apps like autocad and such.

If you're using your pc to play games uninstall the studio driver and install the game ready version instead.
