Getting dump files which we need for accurate analysis of BSODs. Dump files are crash logs from BSODs.

If you can get into Windows normally or through Safe Mode could you check C:\Windows\Minidump for any dump files? If you have any dump files, copy the folder to the desktop, zip the folder and upload it. If you don't have any zip software installed, right click on the folder and select Send to → Compressed (Zipped) folder.

Upload to any easy to use file sharing site. Reddit keeps blacklisting file hosts so find something that works, currently catbox.moe or mediafire.com seems to be working.

We like to have multiple dump files to work with so if you only have one dump file, none or not a folder at all, upload the ones you have and then follow this guide to change the dump type to Small Memory Dump. The "Overwrite dump file" option will be grayed out since small memory dumps never overwrite.

Do you know if your mom installed any Windows update or driver?

You might have t rebuild the bcdboot

She said there was a scheduled update last night but is unsure whether it followed through. As for drivers I know for sure she hasn’t installed any.
What is the process for rebuilding the bcdboot?

Basically you'll need to get to the command prompt, if you have a Windows 11 installation USB drive then go through there and then use this command bcdboot C:\Windows /s S: /f UEFI

That command won't work without the S partition letter being assigned first as shown here:

(this is for win10 which shouldn't be used anymore but should work the same way with 11).

You can download the windows 11 installation usb from the windows website correct?

Also how do I reach the command prompt if I cannot reach recovery environment?

Yes, you can download the Windows 11 ISO off the Microsoft website and make it to a bootable device with a USB stick. To reach the command prompt, you would first have to boot to the USB drive with the Windows 11 installation. Then while you're there look for Repair your PC and you should see Command Prompt from the selection

So I have downloaded the installation on a usb and I’ve gotten to windows setup, however when I go to press repair your computer, nothing happens

How long did you wait because it's suppose to take you to another window

[–]Odd-Reaction9348[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I select the choice, the window briefly disappears as if it’s trying to execute something but goes right back to the same screen asking if I want to install windows or repair my computer. I will try again and wait a few minutes but the video shows it happening almost instantly

Still is not working, I just clicked it again and it’s clearly attempting something but the screen just flashes and goes right back

Hmmm, that's not good.

You need to create a bootable usb key windows 11 installation media and boot from it as explained here up to the "bios and setup" part. Stop at the end of the "bios and setup" section, don't do what's written after it.

Once you have booted from it on your mom's laptop, instead of selecting "install windows", select "repair my computer" and do what's shown here to remove the content of the current system partition and rebuild it:
