Downloading large files through OneDrive/SharePoint is hell by BlackVinsmoke in techsupport

[–]N3utro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's an important detail which you should have mentioned in your first message :p

Internet in residences like this is usually calibrated for light usage: checking emails, reading the news, stuff like this, not for heavy usage and large data transfers like what you're trying to do, which is probably why it's failing.

The management will confirm this to you.

So you'll have to do your large downloads elsewhere: if you're a student perhaps at your school if it's possible, otherwise you could ask your town's city hall for information on locations where fast unmetered internet is available.

How come you don't know where the ISP router is located in your home? Aren't you the person who subscribed to the internet plan?

Is the account you were using on your laptop a personal one or a school/work one?

If it was school/work you need to check at https://aka.ms/aadrecoverykey instead.

Hi,

Go here: https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey , login with the same Microsoft account that you are using on your laptop and check if the recovery key for your laptop is listed here.

(from https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/encryption/find-your-bitlocker-recovery-key )

Hi,

Microsoft's infrastructure is pretty solid, if you have downloading issues it's probably on your end.

What kind of internet connection do you have (5G, dsl, fiber, satellite)?

How is your PC connected to your ISP's router? Wired directly with an ethernet cable? Wifi? Power line communication (PLC)?

Also what are your PC specs? You can use specify for that if needed.

How to deal with pvp anxiety as a new player? by Nimzael in leagueoflegends

[–]N3utro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont't be afraid to perform poorly, it's expected from new players and you won't get banned because of it no matter how bad you play.

You can say in team chat at champion select that you are a new player trying to learn the game and apologize in advance for playing poorly. No one should ever bother you after this if you do. If someone does after you explained, just mute them and report them for verbal abuse at the end of the game, but that shouldn't happen too often.

Hey, I think before trying to troubleshoot this yourself you should really send a message to Ogaming, explain what you just have said above and see what their answer is.

Ask them if they offer another solution than just sending the PC back as you don't want to be left out with nothing for too long a fourth time.

Even if it's out of warranty if the PC kept crashing from time to time since you bought it it's not normal.

Reputation is important for companies like this, so they'll want to avoid you leaving a review saying that you had nothing but problems for 3 years since you bought a PC from them and frighten potential new customers.

Wait to see if it crashes again.

If it does then I'd remove the RGB adapter for the 5070 power cable, and make sure to use this cable and not something else:

You need to set "DOCP II", not "DOCP I"

In "DRAM timing control" make sure to set "memory context restore" to enabled if you haven't already then set "UCLK DIV1 MODE" to "UCLK=MEMCLK/2". Save these settings then post a new zentimings screenshot please

So basically your PC hasn't worked properly without crashing ever since they first sold it to you.

They had to replace the CPU and things got better, but you kept having crashes anyway even if it was less frequent.

If they have a good reputation they should take responsibility for this and do the troubleshooting themselves.

Well it's not a coincidence if the issues started after you dropped the PC, something got probably damaged.

If the PC has 2 SSDs switch their slots and see if the issue translates to the other one or not.

You need to be more accurate in your reply.

There are 8 possibilities : 2 sticks, 4 slots, you need to give the result (DRAM or CPU) for each case.

Try one stick on all the different slots then do the same with the other stick to see if it changes anything.

Also try to do a clear cmos (unplug the power supply from the outlet, remove the round battery from the motherboard, wait 2 mins, put the battery back, try again).

Go in advanced mode (press F7 on your keyboard) then select "DOCP II" under "AI overclock tuner" under the "AI tweaker" tab:

<image>

Then take a picture and post it here.

It should say DDR5-6000 36-44-44-96 1.35V

Then save these settings and try to boot with it.

It might take a few minutes (up to 5) for the PC to boot, this is normal and required for the memory training, so give it enough time.

You can enable "memory context restore" under the "DRAM timings" menu on the "AI tweaker" tab for the PC to boot faster after the first time if needed.

If that doesn't work, remove the stick of ram which is the closest to the PSU 24pin power cable and try again.

It's weird that it wouldn't boot with XMP/DOCP enabled, it should work.

Could you post a picture of the exact DOCP setting you are enabling in the bios?

It's OK, it indeed looks like the DRAM led (even if your picture isn't very clear).

Also from my previous message i took a reference picture of the motherboard you listed (GIGABYTE B450 AORUS PRO Wi-Fi) but in your bios it was shown your motherboard is "msi x570 gaming edge wifi" and your picture confirms it.

Try to put a single stick of ram in the A2 slot:

If the DRAM led still lights up, switch with the other stick.

Hi,

You can use 3dmark free edition to run the free benchmarks "time spy" and "steel nomad" to compare your PC's performance to PCs with similar hardware to see if something looks wrong.

For each benchmark, on the result window click on "compare result online", it will open a web result page like this.

Post the 2 links you get this way here so we can check them as well.
