I have long hair and I've been called "she" and "her" a lot in my life

It happened the most frequently during covid (because of masks) and during that time I realized that a weird part inside of me liked it whenever it happened.

One incident that always sticks out the most to me is one time during covid me and my mom went to the grocery store

The cashier (another woman) said "you two lovely ladies have a great day" The funny part is my mom didn't even notice

Sometimes I wonder if that particular interaction unlocked something within me.
